OBUL REDDY PUBLIC SCHOOL is following a phase-wise unlocking of activities which involves partial resumption of activities in schools for students of classes IX to XII, on a voluntary basis, virtually or physically for taking guidance from their teachers, subject to written permission of parent. While safety remains a priority and the school will have to be reimagined keeping the pandemic in mind, the Management has taken necessary steps to make it as normal as possible for the children. The generic preventive measures are followed to reduce the risk of COVID-19. Prior to resumption of activities, all work areas intended for teaching/demonstrations including laboratories, other common utility areas are regularly sanitized with particular attention to frequently touched surfaces. Every entrance has mandatory hand hygiene (sanitizer dispenser) and thermal screening provisions. Multiple gates are used for entry and exit. Proper crowd management, in corridors and staircase, duly following physical distancing norms have been ensured. Seating arrangement is being taken care of. Grades IX to XII wrote the exams through the exam.net platform. The exams proved to be morale-boosting for the students. The Covid pandemic has evolved new education trends. myPAT –All India Open Test We have now adopted the online mode of teaching. Our teachers and students have readily joined the online community foregoing the traditional classes. We have found the integration of technology in teaching and learning promising. Learning never stops… Revision tests were conducted through myPAT for classes VIII to XII. These tests helped students to prepare for the board exams and helped them to rejuvenate their competitive spirit. Detailed and personalised performance analysis was provided to the stake holders for their overall development. Special Assemblies-Each day is a new beginning and a new learning! Assemblies have adorned a new look this year with each day promising a new opportunity not only to perform but also to learn. These assemblies are providing opportunities for every student to partake in the presentations ensuring them to overcome their inhibitions and look forward to something new. Another beneficial turn is the fact that it is now providing equal opportunities to every student which is usually difficult in institutions of such high volume. An icing on the cake is the enthusiastic participation of parents in these assemblies as they seem to be reliving their schooling years!

12 Vigilance Awareness Week National Youth Day It's all about developing integrity and accountability Building a better society Arise, awake and do not stop until the goal is reached – Swami Vivekananda National Youth Day celebration propagates the philosophy, rational thinking and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda among the youth. In order to celebrate this day essay writing and art competitions were organised. Students were shown a short film on ‘National Youth Festival’. Class assemblies revolved around the ideas and ideals of the great social reformer. The Central Vigilance Committee initiated Vigilance Awareness Week. The objective of the committee was to sensitize the future generation on corruption and develop a sense of accountability in them. Students were encouraged to express their ideas on fighting against corruption during the morning assembly. They were administered an oath to stand against any form of corruption and also stand accountable for their deeds. Celebrating the birth of a ‘Democratic Constitution’ National Women’s Day Empowering the essence of life \"The little girls, you should never doubt that you are valuable, powerful, and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams.\" National Women’s Day was celebrated with pomp and gaiety in the school. Each class conducted assembly highlighting the significant role a woman plays in building the family, society and eventually the nation. The young learners eloquently commended the contribution of many women in shaping and structuring the society. Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26th January to commemorate the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect. Celebration of this occasion annually helps youth and children of our country to be aware of the significance of Indian Constitution and the unity and integrity of our nation. We celebrated this day with great gusto. The ceremony organised on the virtual platform witnessed our students giving speeches on the importance of the day and rendition of patriotic songs. An attitude that entails commitment 13 Ekta Diwas – Keeping the spirit of unity alive -Jan Andolan Pledge Swearing to lead, fight and conquer In these times of tremendous public unrest and violence, the school took the onus of sensitizing the students to upkeep the fervour of the nation’s unity. This objective was made to realise on the National Unity Day celebrated on 30th October, to mark the birth anniversary to our erstwhile leader, politician and ‘Iron Man of India’, Sardar Vallabhai Patel. The day was marked with a special assembly where the students not only discussed the unity in diversity of the country but also took an oath to be responsible citizens and safeguard the nation’s unity. The pandemic may have subdued, but it still holds the threat it came with. All the students and the staff of the school rose to the situation by taking a pledge to combat the grim conditions. The staff, sub – staff, parents and students took the ‘Jan Andolan’ pledge for creating awareness and taking necessary precautions to prevent the spread of Corona Virus. Constitution Day -A testimony of our nativity The Constitution Day of India, also known as the National Law Day or Samvidhan Divas is celebrated on 26th November since 2015. Our school celebrated this special day with beautiful dance performances, songs and skits showing the various ideals of the constitution. At 11 am, the entire school read the preamble out loud.
