The Crow And The P arrot

One day in the woods, a special contest called “The Finest feathers of the year” was held for five days, allowing the birds to spend time deciding to vote. At first, everyone agreed to vote for the parrot since the parrot had beautiful feathers, suited to be the winner. Parrot knows that she is elegant, aesthetic, and attractive. She decided to do whatever she wants because she thinks that she is going to win this award anyway. The Finest feathers of the year

Suddenly, during the contest there was a storm, which heavily damaged the nest, trees, leaves which used to build nests vanished and it is unable to be used. Therefore, feathers are requested to create a temporary shelter. The parrot thought her feathers were too beautiful to build nests, so she refused to donate it even if birds begged for them. On the contrary, the crow offered them her feathers generously. Although her feather might not be as warm or beautiful as the parrot’s, the crow would still be willing to donate it until she was barely left to warm bodies.

When the storm calmed down, on the day of the awards, it turned out that the black crow won because the birds changed their mind after they realized that beauty was not just beauty from appearance, but beauty within made it a fine bird worthy for the winner position.

Fine feathers don’t make fine birds.
