'Moral Education' Guru Govind Singh Study Circle (GGSSC) organized a Moral Education Exam to commemorate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The classes were divided into three groups – Classes I to V, Classes VI-VIII and Classes IX to XII. A total of 630 students of our school actively participated in it. The sole motive of this examination was to strengthen moral values among our students. The following students performed exceptionally well in the examination- 1. Kritika Singh - Class V 6. Pankhuri Sharma- Class VIII 2. Saumya Kushwaha - Class V 7. Aviral Sharma - Class X 3. Bhavya Shukla - Class V 8. Avantika Tripathi - Class X 4. Tanya Kushwaha - Class VIII 9. Anuja Katiyar - Class X 5. Pranika Shukla - Class VIII Our school received a trophy for the zealous participation. 9

'WORKSHOP BY SAVLON' “Cleanliness is a state of purity, clarity and precision.” - Suze Orman A workshop, themed ‘Health and Hygiene’ was conducted by SAVLON for the students of classes I-V. It was conducted to create awareness among the students about the importance of health and hygiene. This was done by showing them videos about proper and regular washing of heads.The students were told how good hygiene helps to prevent the spread of diseases and illness. The session ended with the distribution of the free samples of handwash to the students. 9

'CAREER COUNSELLING BY PAHAL' An enthralling career counselling session was held on 8th November, 2019 by BMA Institute of Professional Studies for Commerce students of classes XI and XII headed by Mr. Govind Maheshwari and Mr. Gopal Trivedi, renowned faculty for taxation.The session imparted great knowledge and awareness among the students about the career options available in the stream of commerce. 9

'Water Conservation and Rainwater Harvesting' A workshop was conducted by the Rotary Club of Kanpur Industrial on 9th September, 2019 on the topic, ‘Water Conservation and Rainwater Harvesting’. The theme of the workshop was ‘Water Wisdom’. The primary aim of the workshop was to make residential complexes and industries self- sufficient with regard to water conservation. The Club members also spoke about the hydrological survey that helps in identifying places which require ground water recharging and explained the architecture of rainwater harvesting system. The Club Members were highly impressed when they came to know that our school is equipped with Rainwater Harvesting System. 9

'Webcast by CBSE' “Trust yourself, you know more than you think you do” - Benjamin Spock A live webcast was conducted by C.B.S.E. on Board Examinations. Proper arrangements were made and the teachers teaching classes IX-XII watched the telecast. The objective of the webcast was to make the students aware of the latest guidelines, instructions and rules for the smooth and fair conduct of the Board Examination. The webcast was addressed by the CBSE Chairperson, Ma’am Anita Karwal. 9

'Pareeksha Pe Charcha' Our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi interacted with the students, teachers and parents in the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2020 programme’ on 15th January, 2020. The programme was held in Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi answered the questions of students, teachers and parents about beating exam stress ahead of the Board Exams. Hon’ble P.M. said that every student should read the book ‘Exam Warriors’ to deal with failures and exam pressures. The book ‘Exam Warriors’ is written by Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, himself. Our students witnessed the live session in the school auditorium. 9
