Journal American Water Works Association February 2017 Volume 109 Number 2
A water district uses a multistage reverse osmosis system to treat brackish water, and a wastewater treatment plant tests advanced oxidation processes. Cyanotoxin levels and resulting responses are studied to help inform state guidelines. A new approach for protecting drinking water systems against hacking and cyberattacks is presented, and the total-intensity of-odor method for testing odors in drinking water is discussed.
