1.1 ABOUT SINGSOCThe University of Warwick Singapore Society is a 200-odd-member community of Singaporeansand non-Singaporeans under the university’s Student Union. Affectionately known as SingSoc,we serve to meet the social and emotional needs of Singaporeans at Warwick and effectivelycreate a ‘home away from home’ for all. Beyond that, we provide opportunities forSingaporeans to break out of their comfort zones and experience new things.We also aim to share our unique Singaporean culture with the rest of the Warwick studentpopulation.
