R LEE TRIPLETT Lee Triplett was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but has lived in the Peoria area since he was a young boy. Being the middle child of two sisters, he HUSBAND. FATHER. learned at an early age that you have to work very hard for what you get. BUSINESS OWNER. Hard work and determination have been the foundation of his success, and those values are visible in the company and with its employees. Pictured here with his wife & son Coming from a long line of home improvement pros, Lee started his career at LH Triplett and Sons, which was operated by his grandfather and then his father. Working weekends and summers driving trucks for the company, hot tar roofing and whatever else he had to do, Lee later in life took a job in sales with a local home improvement company and instantly achieved respect and record rookie sales, earning him the Rookie of the Year award. During these early years, he experienced virtually every aspect of the business operation. In 1994, Lee met his wife Angela who to this day works in the business. They have overseen the administrative side, and they have remained in the area raising their son, who now works with them in the business. When he’s not working, Lee enjoys going to baseball games, traveling, and spending time with his family. Both Lee and his wife are very active members in the community sports programs and donate time and money to help the local youth programs prosper. Lee’s philosophy for success in life, as well as business, is simple: treat people with respect and honesty, work hard, and stay focused on what’s important.
