WWW.BRAVEHEARTSNI.COM/DONATE Aims - BraveheartsNI aim is to support teenagers and young adults in Northern Ireland with congenital heart disease and support their families providing pastoral and welfare support. Objectives - BraveheartsNI will build a network of support for CHD patients in NI with responsibility being assumed by the Bravehearts themselves. All work through BraveheartsNI will be completed on a volunteer basis with all funds raised or donated being used directly where needed within NI. The Bravehearts themselves will gain strength and friendship by working alongside each other supporting and encouraging themselves and others in their efforts to reach other Bravehearts and their families. COMMUNITY NEWS VANDALISM CONDEMNED BY LOCAL ALDERMAN An attack of vandalism on the Galgorm Community Centre has been totally and utterly condemned by a local TUV Mid East Antrim Alderman Stewart Donald. The community is in disgust at the thought anyone would carry out such pathetic behaviour. Alderman Donald released this statement: “I am disgusted that once again Galgorm Community Centre has been targeted by vandals. Back in September there was an attempt to set the building alight and this morning the walls were painted over. This property is unitised by people right across the generations in our area. Very young children go to nursery there. Indeed, I was contacted by a playgroup leader this morning who was rightly outraged that pre-schoolers had to witnessed the damage which had been done. Young people and the young at heart use the facilities for karate or changing after football. The elderly attend variety nights in the building. Those responsible, whatever their motivations, have in reality attacked all those folk. I would appeal for anyone with information to come forward to the police. I have already been in contact with council officials and been assured that the graffiti will be removed”.

UFC NEWS RHYS TO HIT THE CREASE IN UFC COME NOVEMBER Next Generation club fighter Rhys McKee (10-3-1) was a key part of both BAMMA and later Cage Warriors, two well-known promotions out of the U.K. So it will be interesting to see McKee in his second outing in the UFC in the next number of weeks. That will come on November 14, against Alex Morono. The welterweight fight will transpire at an event expected to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. MMA Junkie was first to report the booking. McKee had won three straight prior to his octagon debut against Chimaev. Notably, he spent a large chunk of his career fighting at lightweight prior to late 2019. The Morono fight, however, will take place at 170lbs. Morono (17-6, 1NC) had a three fight win streak snapped by Khaos Williams earlier this year at UFC 247. Heading into that fight, he had secured victories against Max Griffin, Zak Ottow, and Song Kenan. That was the best run of Morono’s UFC tenure, which began in 2016. So it is a big come on the man from Linenhall Street IMMA
ULSTER RUGBY Ulster are unbeaten after five games in the Guinness PRO14, after putting in an assured performance against Glasgow Warriors at Kingspan Stadium on Monday evening, winning 40-15. The visitors were first to draw blood, with Number Eight TJ Loane driving over to score his first try for the club and Pete Horne adding the conversion. Ulster were quick to respond, with John Andrew tucking the ball under his arm and rumbling over off the back of a driving Ulster maul. John Cooney nailed the conversion.Glasgow took the lead in the 20th minute with Horne slotting a penalty, but once again, Ulster capitalised from an attacking line- out shortly after, when Marcell Coetzee muscled his way over the whitewash. Cooney added the two. Ulster began to turn the screw when Sam Carter drove over in the 37th minute, just seconds after his first attempt wasn’t deemed to be grounded over the line. Cooney was accurate with the extras. The Ulster men collected the try-bonus point on the stroke of half-time, through John Cooney who found a gap to cross the Glasgow line, and then converted his own score.T en minutes into the second half, Michael Lowry went on the attack and sent a beautiful pass out to John Andrew on the wing, who offloaded back inside to send Sean Reidy over in the corner. Matt Faddes was next to score, after a bone-crunching tackle from Marcell Coetzee caused the attacking Glasgow player to lose the ball. The winger kicked the ball up field and scored under the posts, with Cooney slotting the conversion. Glasgow pulled one back through hooker, Grant Stewart, capitalising on having an extra man after Lowry was shown yellow for attempting to intercept the ball but his knock-on was deemed deliberate. The Warriors built up a sustained period of pressure in the final quarter, but the well-drilled Ulster defence were able to handle what the visitors threw at them to close out the game. Full-time score: Ulster 40 Glasgow 15
