A Note From the Principal… Welcome Back to Metro E! We are overjoyed to have your student back with us this school year! We have some very exciting things happening on our campus this school year! My name is Anissa Ganceres and I am so excited about serving the students at Metro Elementary. As a school counselor, I am thrilled to work with all Metro E students and their families in making sure that this year will be the best educational learning experience- with lots of fun memories sprinkled on! My husband, Domingo, and I have two awesome adult children, Mia and Gavin. We also have two dogs, Charlie and Duke, who complete our family.

After School Care August 7, 2023 Dear Parents, My Name is Ms. Evelyn, and I am thrilled and honored to introduce myself as the Parent Involvement/After-School Site Leader at Metro E Elementary. Our afterschool program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children. Program Details: Start Date: 8/14/2023 End Date: 5/20/2023 Program Hours: 3:15-5:35 At Corpus Christi ISD After-School Program, we prioritize the following aspects to ensure your child's experience is nothing short of exceptional: 1. Academic Support (1 Hour Daily): We recognize the significance of continuous learning and offer support for completing homework assignments and furthering academic growth in alignment with school curricula. 2. Enrichment (1 Hour Daily): Our program offers a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, STEM projects, creative writing, and more. 3. Communication and Involvement: We strongly encourage open communication between parents and our staff. We will send a monthly newsletter on the events and activities covered each month. 4. Safety and Security: Your child's safety is our utmost priority. We maintain a strict security protocol to ensure a safe and supervised environment at all times. Dismissal Procedures: Students will be dismissed from the school Auditorium at 5:30 pm. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's after school experience. New Teachers My name is Joe Munguia and I will be teaching 1st grade bilingual at Metro E. I have been teaching for twelve years and am looking forward to having my best year ever! Hello! My name is Breezy Jimenez and I am the new 3rd grade teacher. I am excited to begin my 19th year as an educator at Metro E. I'm excited to dive right into everything Metro E has to offer.
