VenezuelaE M S I K A R V I S I T ANGEL FALLS ''...waterfall in the Guiana Highlands in Bolívar state, southeastern Venezuela, on the Churún River, a tributary of the Caroní, 160 miles (260 km) southeast of Ciudad Bolívar. The highest waterfall in the world, the cataract drops 3,212 feet (979 metres) and is 500 feet (150 metres) wide at the base. It leaps from a flat-topped plateau, Auyán-Tepuí (“Devils Mountain”), barely making contact with the sheer face. The falls are located in Canaima National Park, and, because of the dense jungle surrounding the falls, they are best seen from the air.Angel FallsAngel Falls, Canaima National Park, Venezuela.©...''

Angel Waterfall By The Editors of Encyclopaedia Britannica The falls, first sighted by outsiders in the 1930s, were named for James Angel, an American adventurer who crash-landed his plane on a nearby mesa in 1937. In late 2009 Venezuelan Pres. Hugo Chávez declared that the falls should be referred to as Kerepakupai Merú, an indigenous name. History of Angel Falls Before the mid-1950s, the falls were an unknown wonder. Even the indigenous Kamarakotos Pómon tribe who occupied the valley beside Auyán-tepu stayed away, believing that Angel Falls’ remote location harboured malign spirits. In 1933, air-borne American gold prospector James Crawford (‘Jimmie’) Angel discovered Angel Falls accidentally, flying over the mountain in his Flamingo monoplane while in search of a valuable ore bed. In 1937, Jimmie returned to the falls, his second wife, Marie, and acquaintances Gustavo Henry and Miguel Delgado also aboard his jittery, fixed-wing plane. Although Jimmie landed his plane successfully on Auyán- tepu’s heart-shaped summit, the plane’s wheels became submerged in mud, and Jimmie’s aircraft remained marooned atop the mountain until 1970. For 11 days, the group trekked across rough terrain, having to ration their limited food supplies, until they reached a small settlement at Kamarata. Word spread of Jimmie’s exploits and the falls’ were duly named after him. The tale piqued international interest in Angel Falls and many scientific investigations followed. Canaima National Park was founded in 1962. In 1994, UNESCO named it a World Heritage Site. Visiting Angel Falls

PRESERVING THE PAST According to s National Geographics If the Pyramid helped to build ancient Egypt, they also preserved it. Giza allows us to explore a long-vanished world.\"Many people think of the site as just a cemetery in the modern sense, but it's a lot more than that,\" says Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Tufts University Egyptologist Peter Der Manuelian. \"In these decorated tombs you have wonderful scenes of every aspect of life in ancient Egypt—so it's not just about how Egyptians died but how they lived.\"Tomb art includes depictions of ancient farmers working their fields and tending livestock, fishing and fowling, carpentry, costumes, religious rituals, and burial practices. Inscriptions and texts also allow research into Egyptian grammar and language. \"Almost any subject you want to study about Pharaonic civilization is available on the tomb walls at Giza,\" Der Manuelian says.To help make these precious resources accessible to all, Der Manuelian heads the Giza Archives Project, an enormous collection of Giza photographs, plans, drawings, manuscripts, object records, and expedition diaries that enables virtual visits to the plateau.

ART & CREATIVITY ART MERIT VISUALS EMPOWERING ARTS AND CREATIVITY

ART & CREATIVITY TOOLBOX FOR A DUMMIES GOOD SCRIPT GOOD CAMERA & DOCUMENTARY ITS ACCESSORIES FILM MAKING GOOD CREATIVE By Billitasville Group & Nick CAST Willoughby According to Nick Willoughby documentaries can be interesting projects if you have chosen a compelling idea that you are passionate about. There are a few ways you can make your film stand out from the crowd. Record clean sound because you’ll be filming the interviews in mid shots or close‐up shots, get the microphone fairly close to your subject. If you’re using your camera’s onboard microphone, you’ll have to get the camera as close as you can without creating an extreme close‐up shot. If you’re using an external microphone, on the other hand, you can position it close to your subject without having to move your camera closer. It’s also a good idea to make sure you avoid as much background noise as possible. It’s very important to hear the answers from your subject, and not any distracting noise. Lavalier microphones are often used when filming interviews. These are very small microphones that can be attached to your subject’s shirt with a wire connected to a belt pack. These are very useful because they allow you to get the microphone really close to your subject without giving your sound operator arm‐ache. They also help reduce background noise. Film cutaways Interviews are great for documentaries, but be careful: Sometimes scene after scene of someone just speaking to the camera can be boring. To keep your audience interested, try including cutaways. Cutaways are video clips that appear over interviews and voiceovers to help explain a point or to support what the character is saying.

CREATE THE PERFECT ENDING As the ending is the last bit of your documentary that your audience will see, it’s important to spend time getting it right. Your audience should be able to walk away from your documentary feeling satisfied and informed. To do this, you need to conclude your story and include any answers to questions asked at the beginning . You may want to include: Any final thoughts or feelings from your subject or characters. Any results from an event Information about an event or charity. A challenge for your audience Video footage to support the information You may also decide to include a voiceover here to summarize and conclude your story or topic. MASTER KG STRIKES GOLD IN A GLOBAL VILLAGE BY ISTRAFEL ''FOX'' ZHOU Master KG STRIKES GOLD IN A GLOBAL VILLAGE In all the conversations that I have with people the one thing that we all agree to is that 2020 has not been a good year because of Covid 19, total lockdowns and the closure of economies. No one had ever heard of such a thing as a face mask becoming a must have thing. Amidst all this the world did not stop looking for hope and assurance that things will be alright again. In Italy residents opened their windows in order to sing for each other whilst on national lockdown. However the world stumbled on, what some think is the golden melody. This was a song by a South African artiste Master KG called Jerusalema. The wave began with doctors in France taking a dance challenge called the Jerusalema Dance Challenge, named after the song which they danced too. Soon as the world caught on to this video, the challenge spread like a wild fire even Master KG could not believe it. What seemed to be a song of yesterday which people danced to in December of 2019 had comeback in mid 2020 with a new and stronger wave this time. It did not take time for Master KG to notice and share with his fans on Twitter updates on this new wave. This wave grew to become a tsunami due to its magnitude. When the wave started Jerusalema had 26 million views on YouTube and to date it has 170 million views on YouTube. His song went platinum in many European countries. Personally I think Master KG is smiling all the way to the bank. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here: Who is Master KG? fiHrsoMeaMmcosSaomtvoeamaesMuburpotpitesanenahiulscdarg2ttAt.eec0p\"MofrarJr1lfeari8KtauceShry.sGaupeoiIatnnnserutwiagnrstDmhlhthKewCiaeosumGArcaisstltelafeehiraarcmetd\"iireicb,slaeebfaweuVnaeaeaclnahisarltanetlcesna2uldalnlged0aremihteh1dnbr9iteeeigoshL,ncuiMgideNsomLgoearKoaihtmdbpsgmgtituonepapehcptorrooteiaoomgoKpfbld.eubtoGMo.uhlcu.MocrZaihmreeMsaitkwltresee.SooteaiHrekatdnshregKeeeulKiG.DdecsGotJitgon'mhsrngeeewas hIno\"uJmaernsriuddos-fs2a5p0leaA2mw0un,agi\"iutnwswgtae2asn0rtte2avm0kie,riabnxluwdotdnoiwatwlhyian.nBseou,recnrsnhtYaaoorrBtueionTdyug.obTinnehtteoehnrvenitdfahoetelioloolnoawatfeilnlyg
