“Life’s not about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” – Vivian Greene
Light upon the skin is a joy. Light upon the flower is a work of art. Light through the rain brings the arching colours of a rainbow. Light brings energy, more in a single drop than we can easily fathom. Light brings the plants to life, its warmth and energy giving the essential ingredient for all that we hold sacred. Perhaps it is our holy grail, not a cup that feeds us all, that fills every cup and bowl. Through darkness comes light, through fear comes love and through pain comes triumph. This is the triumph of the human spirit and it is in every one of us. The struggles and hardships are the gifts, so that we can reach deep down inside of ourselves and discover our inner power and the glory of who we are. The world needs our voice, our message and our experiences so that they can resonate in the hearts of others and give hope and courage to show that it is possible to overcome anything. Let us share our gifts with each other as we will be far richer for the experience.

Rainy Season SKG – 26th July 2021 LKG -30th July 2021 Each raindrop is a kaleidoscope, if we could only see more closely. We wonder as we walk how it would be to stop time, to suspend this watery gift and peek through each one. Perhaps it would be fun to sit inside those raindrops and take that gravity propelled ride to the earth. We see the rain beads upon the cars, upon each leaf and washing our outstretched fingers. Soon they pull together, forming the puddles, opening up a whole new avenue of rain-related fun. Our tiny tots enjoyed rainy season by participating in the fun filled activities organized, by creating beautiful peacocks and umbrella’s.

Virtual Tour I went on a virtual tour of the famous places of each state and Union territory of our country and explored various interesting facts about the same.I was very fascinated to know more about some places I didn’t knew much about earlier. I myself bolong to Srinagar and was pulled back to my roots seeing the Hari Parbat fort of Srinagar. It is such a remarkable structure surrounded by much greenery and fresh clear air. It serves a panoramic view of the whole city which makes me want to travel and experience it for myself soon. I was wowed by the Tibetan Architecture of the Leh Palace of Ladakh. I learned about it’s museums which showcase the ancient artefacts of the place like paintings, ceremonial costumes, jewellery etc. I studied about the Hadimba Devi Temple situated in the hills of Manali and how it’s dedicated to Hadimba Devi.I would love to know more and visit such mythological places of my country. Another one of my favourite place was the Golden Temple of Amritsar, Punjab. I was mesmerised by how the temple gets reflected in the black waters of the pond around it, it just looks so magical. It warms my heart how the temple serves langar to all homeless people visiting it free of cost. The best way of utilising the donations. My capital city Delhi is no less ,as I saw the historic Qutub Minar. It still stands tall despite all adverse natural calamities. Another one of the mythological place I found interesting was the Badrinath Temple. How it’s perched high up in the mountains of Himalayas. Just another one of the loveliest architectural heritage monument of my country that I’m proud of.. Samiksh kaul 4A

Book Buzz \"One good book is worth a hundreds good friends and a good friend is worth a library \" I am a Vishwa Bharatian and I am proud and honoured to be a part of e - newsletter. The story of Pocahontas, John Smith and the Chief Powhatan portrays that no good can be achieved by hurting anyone. The character of Pocahontas depicts that she was a very kind - hearted , simple , generous and a caring girl. John Smith’s character shows him to be a brave and courageous leader . On the other hand , Chief Powhatan was an energetic and powerful ruler but at the same time, he was cruel towards his subjects. The story tells us of the time when and how Powhatan saved the life of settler John Smith, from her father’s cruel hands. Therefore, we should always be good to everyone and extend a helping hand whenever required. We should always strive to be a better human being and follow humanity. Simran Shekhar 5A The Library Activity- Book Buzz Vishwa Bharati Public School has introduced a library activity for students. I like this activity because now we can read stories and learn moral values from it. The first story that we read was story of Pocahontas and John Smith. This is a very interesting story. The moral value I learnt from this story is by hurting others we will not get anything. Never try to become chief to other people, be kind to others and help each other. Now I learnt this value so I am going to use this in my daily life by not hurting anyone, to be kind and respectful to others. We should not become King to anyone but should help others. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to express myself. Lohith Saravanan 5A
Coding Classes Last two years of this century has seen unprecedented events in the history of mankind. COVID-19 pandemic caused a series of lock downs, night curfews, overloaded healthcare system, millions of deaths, panic and what not. Every daily life activity has changed significantly in the way used to be in pre-covid era e.g. industrial workforce is working remotely from home, students are taking online classes, doctors are giving consultation on video calls, etc. This was all made possible through the global network of Internet and several electronic gadgets like smart phones, tablets, etc. Mobile app is the new buzz word for everywhere. Gauging this fast-paced changes in the digital landscape, our school took new initiative of coding classes. These coding classes had been very exciting from day 1. We are learning to make mobile apps for Android phones. We all are going through a great learning curve to keep pace with the changing in time. Now the world has changed, and it has changed for good. There is no doubt that so many people lost their lives but now we are much better prepared to take up new challenges with the help of computer programming and coding. ISHANVI TIWARI 6A
“JAL HI JEEVAN HAI” Water is the most important natural resource made available by mother earth to the human . It is important for existence of life and maintaining ecological balance . Life on earth without water cannot be imagined and history is replete with war fought between civilization over water . Although , earth consitutes 71% of water but we use its 2.5% only. Our school has started a campaign for saving water, and against its wastage. Through this campaign we are learning that how we can save every drop of water more wisely and we are taking all the measures to save and reuse the waste water. Instead of wasting it , we should use it for plantation , for washing , for bathing , for cooking and for other required things. Being motivated from this campaign I reuse the waste RO water by watering my plants. While brushing my teeth I ensure that water tap is closed properly for that period of time. We are also using the waste water for mopping the floor. I also share my activities to my friends and family members about saving the water and how we can use the waste water more wisely. Water is also used in industry and for generating electricity . Adequate measures must be taken by the authorities towards optimal usage of water and methods like rain water harvesting must be implemented in order to ensure future availability of one of the nature’s most valuable resource .
