Welcome As a member of our Design team at Lifetime Training, we want to ensure that skills development within your role is clear and accessible – so we created this guide. We hope you find this guide as a starting point to your training, and continue to check back in as we gradually expand the support we can offer. 4

What types of training are available? Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Throughout Lifetime team members are entitled to 3 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) time a month, this can be used for: • Researching current creative trends • Expanding your practical skillset • Keeping up-to-date with the latest design and marketing innovations You can find more information on page 6 the employee handbook. In Their Shoes It’s important to understand where you fit into the bigger picture. One of the main ways Lifetimers can achieve this is to get out there and witness departments in action. The In Their Shoes initiative allows Lifetimers to spend some time shadowing other teams to gain a full perspective of how their roles align with each other to meet the same goal. So whether you’re aiming to move higher in the company and want to see what it’s like, or you want to understand the challenges facing your fellow colleagues, In Their Shoes can be a valuable tool for you. If you’re interested, you can find further information about the here. Training will need to be signed off by your Line Manager; you can find the request form here. Evolving Talent Evolving Talent is the name of Lifetime Training Group’s apprenticeship programme and is a core part of Journey of a Lifetime. It will support you to excel in your professional and personal development goals. You can find more information on the training available here. 5

How to book in training 1 Access Hub Planner 2 Find a booking-free period, select the time slot then click on the three dots 3 Select ‘Schedule Event’ 4 Type ‘Training’ to reveal this selection 5 Drag the booking across 3 hours Note: Design time tends to fill up quickly, so try and make the booking 1 month in advance. If an urgent booking comes in we may need to push the training booking back by a day or so, however we try to avoid this where possible 6
