A Message from the Executive Director Dear supporter of the Friends of San Lucas, This February I had the privilege of co-hosting two Mission Immersion groups that were visiting the Mission. These trips are designed to give participants the opportunity to spend time in each of the Mission’s programs and to meet the program directors. What I love about these trips is the chance to tell people about the work of the Mission. And every time I get to talk about what is going on at the Mission I am overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude for being able to continue the work that Fr. Greg began 57 years ago. The reality is this: because of your generous and faithful support the Mission is doing more than it has ever done. Your gifts build more homes and stoves; Your gifts educate more students; Your gifts provide healthcare to more children and families; And your gifts bring Mission programming to more than 25,000 people. Your faithful giving, your prayers and visits, your spreading the good news of the Mission; all that you do makes a dif- ference in the lives of so many. Thank you for your support. And in 2020, with your generosity we will continue to walk alongside the people of San Lucas in lives of mutual respect and service.
