A warm holiday greeting to each one of you! Many thanks to all the individuals and groups who sup- ported us or visited us in 2019. You have helped raise the standard of living of our people. Thank you for your prayers, recommendations, and donations. On behalf of the Guatemalan families, boys, girls, women, men, and elders who see in the Mission a hope for a better life and a stronger community, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Hig2h0li1g9hts With help from Side by Side International, we constructed a new fourth grade classroom to accommodate more students at our school. We purchased a new coffee roaster to increase the capacity and predictability of our roasts. Stay tuned for more year- We built our first hybrid home, using elements of both con- end highlights in our 2019 crete block and wood. Designed by Mission employees, hybrid houses last longer than wood homes and are less expensive annual report to be than block homes. Mission Updates Visitor Black Out Dates April 5 - 12 To allow all of our employees in Guatemala time to take September 13 - 27 vacation and spend holidays with their families, the Mission will not be providing visitor services (including transporta- October 14 - 20 tion, meals, money exchange and service work) during these December 24 - January 1 dates in 2020.
