How we do it The Grange Partnership Approach At Grange Partnership we have developed and refined our own process to ensure outstanding success in global learning. Our process supports fast, accurate development that creates engaging learning programmes. Learning Needs Analysis is the first stage of our process and is a critical element of the programme(s). Here we would apply Bloom’s Taxonomy (Forehand, 2010) to the given learning needs and ensure that they fully satisfy business requirements. At the Design stage we take a top level approach to the programme(s). Factors such as the different regional requirements, future plans to roll out selection and use of world-class external case studies and overall programme design are considered. It’s important to sign off this stage with the appointed design reference group (or steering group) to ensure that any material to be developed is aligned to the overall design. Our solutions are always designed with a mix of learning media to satisfy different participant learning styles. During the Development stage we write the materials, case studies, exercises, tutor notes and agenda. This will require liaising with your subject matter experts and ensuring that we customise the examples and content appropriately and carefully. Our recommended approach to customisation is to sign-off material at each stage with the designated subject matter experts. 4

We set ourselves apart from our competition in classroom training. By scoring very highly we create advocacy in the participant group and using our on-the-job assignment process to ensure learning transfer and application in the business. We use our unique approach and accelerated learning methodology which resonates well with learners. We strive to create the solution the client prefers. This may be elearning, classroom, train the trainer solution or co-training with a GP tutor. We can provide all or any of these combinations. We use our project management expertise within our approach to deliver, whatever the project size. During the Learning Transfer (or on the job development) we can provide coaching support and our tools or methodologies to increase the retention and further application into the business. At a business wide level we also look at the feedback from an independent survey. Finally the Learning Evaluation will be aimed at delivering level four on the Kirkpatrick evaluation model. Here close attention will be given to achieving this and demonstrating the ROI for the business. This will also ensure the sustainability of the programme and we move into the Continuous Evaluation stage.“ Feedback from Clients:“ Unilever’s Global Customer Service Excellence Director “This programme has had a huge impact on customer service mindset and building teams. This is visible in two of our most important KPIs: On shelf availability (OSA) and Customer Case Fill On Time (CCFOT). We have confirmed that the investment was worth it, and this is only the beginning” Carlsberg’s Supply Chain Academy Director “Clearly, within the classroom it is 10 out of 10! Their experience of running events delivers great advocates within the business. Their attention to the detail is fantastic, whilst being flexible enough to improvise when required to our business needs. They have a ‘thinly sliced agenda’ – by this I mean they use various different learning styles throughout any programme, to best maximise the delegate participation and interest. Grange Partnership get the balance right between taking the burden away from us, whilst equally making sure the materials they developed are ‘painted our colour’”. 7
