For Immediate Release Press Contact: Sandy Scott Director of Marketing [email protected] 770-387-1300 BOOTH ARTISTS’ GUILD ANNUAL EXHIBITION ON VIEW AT BOOTH WESTERN ART MUSEUM More than 35 national artists selected to participate in annual BAG exhibition May 19 - August 14, 2022 CARTERSVILLE, GEORGIA – For an artist, continuing education is vital. Booth Western Art Museum is honored to offer such opportunities through artist presentations, exhibitions and demonstrations. For the tenth consecutive year, Booth Museum is excited to exhibit the work of members from the Booth Artists’ Guild in Borderlands Gallery opening May 19. Membership in the Booth Artists Guild (BAG) has grown to over 217 members from across the nation. Each year, BAG members are encouraged to submit their work to Booth Museum for the annual juried exhibition. This year, 130 works of art were submitted to our judge for consideration. Of those 130 pieces, 52 were selected which represents 44 artists. “Membership in the Booth Artists’ Guild continues to increase, year after year. More importantly though, the development we see in the members is truly remarkable. Their commitment to growth is evident each year as we prepare this exhibition.” says Booth Art Academy Manager Kent Mullinax. Started in March of 2010, BAG has provided a way for artists to come together on a monthly basis to hear programs on marketing, photographing and framing works of art, plus programs on different mediums, styles and genres. Some of the meetings include artist demos and some offer attendees a chance to get their hands in paints and glue to create quick little masterpieces. MORE
