The Rio Grande by Dan Wetzel oil 11 x 13 $250.00 It is always a pleasure spending time along the Rio Grande, especially in the beautiful state of New Mexico. This is a view of the river between Santa Fe and Taos. This is one of my favorite places to paint. The beautiful skies, the flowing river and all of the wonderful and unique plant life. I love painting rivers, and this is one of my favorites to paint. I hope you like it too. I love this country!

Northern Lights by Brian Longoria oil 19 x 16 $450.00 This painting was inspired by a trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado which is a small tributary off the Yampa River and runs through the town. I was taken by the dark blue color of the water as it cascaded around and over the rocks. Creeks and waterfalls are some of the water elements that I specialize in. This is mountain runoff so you can imagine how cold it was. I tried to convey the water temperature with the cool blues used, contrasting with sparkle like highlights reminding me of stars in the night sky.

Beauties in Joucas by Ludmila (Luda) Harrison watercolor 25 x 21 $795.00 When we traveled to France in 2018 with a group of artists, we visited the rural village of Joucas in Provence and spent a whole day there painting beautiful mountains and Luberon Valley. On our way back to car (and to the hotel in Fontaine de Vaucluse), I did see this beautiful fuchsia flower bush at the entrance to one of the houses, and while I was trying to make a photo of it, a house kitty cat showed up to check on me “ who is there?”

Fog and Mist by Ann Currey oil 14 x 14 $800.00 This is a painting from a photo from a trip out west last summer. At the end of a painting day the sky became foggier with a slight mist so we decided just to explore some and take photographs before we headed out. As we turned the corner across the river was a bull elk sharpening his antlers. Needless to say it was the perfect end to the day. (And we were a safe distance away).

Coast of Ireland by Diana Dee Sarkar oil 22 x 26.5 $2,025.00 Several years ago, I went to Ireland to do plein air painting of the life in villages, farms, and the Cliff of Moher. Off the coast I was able to paint the farms, animals, castles, and the loving Irish people. But when I tried to capture the cliffs and ocean, I was unable to set up to paint because the winds were too strong. It took all my efforts just to stand up and do small sketches and take photos. Just recently I came across my files on Ireland, and in viewing my reference materials I knew I had to attempt to remember the trip and create a painting of the Irish coastline. Now I know I must return to Ireland to be with these amazing people and this lovely country.

Ida Cason Calloway Memorial Chapel by Melanie Handy 24 x 28 $1,200.00 Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel. This chapel is located at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA. The stained glass was designed by my uncle, Joel C. Reeves d. 1973, who was at the time Dean of the Atlanta School of Art, now SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). His design for the stained glass was chosen from many submissions. The stained glass windows represent the four seasons. The chapel is truly a place of reflection (in more than one way), and it was my honor to paint it.

In The Wind by Virginia Dauth acrylic mixed media 30 x 30 $550.00 This is a fun painting. I do paint in Acrylics but not nearly as much as my first love pastels and my second oils. This large format begged to be painted in acrylics. I adore flowers of all kinds as one could see from my garden. These Poppies were fun to paint. I added texture to them and worked with different products to get the effects and transparent areas in this painting. I hope this painting makes you smile as it sure does it for me.

The Rising of the Moon by Gary Worthan oil 24 x 27 $550.00 The coast along our southern states here in America offers a painter so many subjects to choose from. For me, depicting the maritime life is my favorite. While standing on shore during a full moon, I was fascinated by moonlight dancing on the water. Of course, there was not a shrimp boat in front of me, but I imagined one anchored a few miles out, waiting for morning with its crew at rest. The old Irish ballad, “The rising of the moon” came into my consciousness. Driving home 3 days later with that song still playing in my mind, the process of creating this painting was born.

Slight Breeze by Ann Currey oil 14 x 14 $800.00 Another location from a trip out west last summer. I did a couple of on the spot paintings of this location and decided to use my reference material to create a studio piece. The day was perfect with just a slight breeze, clear skies and the best painting companions.

Coast of Northern California by Diana Dee Sarker oil 22 x 26.5 $2,025.00 This painting was created from sketches, plein paintings and photos of the North Coast of California just above Fort Bragg. I was painting there last year. I saw this scene on my first day and I did sketches and photos of the area, vowing to myself I would go back to paint it seriously. Again, another attempt to do prolonged painting of the ocean plein air did not come to fruition. After I settled in and got ready to paint, high winds and rains came and stayed throughout my visit. Though I did small plein air pieces in the wind and rain, I could not get the piece I wanted of this cliff. This was finally realized this year and the process brought back fond memories of the beauty of Northern California and I will return to paint there again.

Beauty Comes in All Colors by Ludmila (Luda) Harrison oil on linen 25 x 21 $975.00 This painting came about thanks to Brenda Pinnick. She posted a photo of her bouquet of flowers on FB with note “paint it if you want it”. So I did! With a few changes…

The Frozen Cow by Susan Waters oil 15 x 17 $225.00 This was painted on location during the Big Shanty Festival in Kennesaw. It was unseasonably warm, and the icy refreshments offered within lured young and old alike, adding a further level of excitement to the festivities.

China Market by Martha Choate oil 17.5 x 14.5 $450.00 Hangzhou, China is a popular tourist destination in China. While on a visit, this street scene called for a painting because of all the flags and stalls.

Anisoptera by Cantey Smith watercolor & acrylic 16.5 x 13.5 $200.00 This dragonfly makes quite the journey! Beginning as watercolor on paper and then realizing that it needed more room to fly, was applied onto the canvas board with a gel medium. Acrylics were then used to create this subtle background which includes shifts of reflected light from matte, to pearlesence, to a soft shine. Its flight continues through finely detailed, inked dandelions and grass into a beautiful summer day.

Flamingo Afternoon by Gary Worthan oil 26 x 16 $450.00 Flamingos have always been one of my favorite birds to watch. Although awkward looking in appearance, they seem to glide gracefully as they wade across water. The Jacksonville Zoo in Florida has a wonderful collection. I visit there as often as possible. Although Flamingos are pink in color, they can be quite different as to how much color is present on their feathers. The flock in this zoo are exceptionally colorful. Bathed in the late afternoon light, their movement and reflected color on the water was dazzling.

Mon Ami Monet by Elizabeth Carr watercolor 16 x 19 $200.00 I painted this during a painting trip to Giverny, France. Of course, Monet was already one of my favorite impressionists, but when I walked his gardens early in the morning and late evening that week, I fell in love all over again. This scene of the iconic bridge over the lily pond has been painted so many times, it’s very difficult to say anything that hasn’t already been said thousands of times before. Still I knew I had to paint it for myself. Watercolor was my medium of choice.

Garden Bouquet by Larry Breeland acrylic on canvas 18 x 24 $230.00 This is a fun painting capturing a collection one may gather from their garden. My wife is a Master Gardener, and we belong to the Georgia Daylily society which is all part of our hobby of gardening. We have something that blooms every month of the year including November through February the months most do not realize can be done! We do all our own yard maintenance which allows us to have a yard that has been on several garden tours.

Tybee Island Lighthouse by Kathy Knopp oil 18 x 21 $375.00 Tybee Island Lighthouse on a beautiful bright winter day amazingly bright blue billowing clouds, showing off its best side of the season with a fence that pics up a bit of blue tint from the sky and shadows of the light everywhere balance off one another.

For Simonetta by Walt Floyd oil on canvas 22.5 x 18.5 $6,500.00 “For Simonetta” is a merging of my older and unfinished painting of a doorway with a likeness of the 15th century image of Simonetta Vespucci by Botticelli. In attempting to paint a portion of Botticelli’s portrait, I hoped to discover something about his style and working methods. In this way, I developed a deeper appreciation for the artist’s talents. Simonetta Vespucci was an Italian noblewoman, the cousin-in-law of the explorer Amerigo Vespucci. She was considered to be the greatest beauty in all of Florence, Italy in the 1400s and died at age 22 from a terrible illness.

Sandhill Cranes by Judy Cooper oil 12 x 24 $195.00 Sandhill Cranes are the oldest living bird species. They are also a protected species and mate for life. They travel more than 200 miles a day and have a distinctive bugle call which can be heard 2.5 miles away. They have a \"courtship dance\" that involves the pair engaging in elaborate bowing displays with outstretched wings and leaping in the air. I think they are engaging in some of these displays in the photo I used for the inspiration for this painting.

Marshes of Glynn by Manir Kapasi oil on canvas 14.5 x 22.5 $600.00 Sunrise on Jekyll Island by Manir Kapasi oil on sintra panel 18.5 x 18.5 $600.00 This is two views of Jekyll Island. They were painted in October 2021 when I visited Jekyll Island.

The Golden Years by Cecille Morgan oil 12 x 14 $500.00 Here's to the old horses, the ones who have given you their all. The ones who move more slowly now, but whose eyes belie their wisdom. The ones who KNOW. This painting is inspired by my 22 year old Quarter Horse, Doc. His joints are getting knobby and his movements are a little creaky, but he still thinks I hung the moon. He still comes in, nickering a greeting and showing his pleasure in my daily appearance. Sometimes I think we are like a couple of old guys who meet together to play checkers because we just love hanging out together. I imagine that I am not the only one who understands that there is a real comfort in hanging out with the old ones, the ones who KNOW.

Carolina Wren by Mozelle Funderburk watercolor 20 x 16 $400.00 When I was painting plein air in Charleston, SC, I was surrounded by so many wonderful places. An old wall sparked my imagination with its worn stones and square nails. I captured the spot with the idea of putting a bird on the nail. We have lots of wrens at home so I simply merged the two in watercolor. What could be more appropriate than a Carolina Wren on an old Charleston wall nail?

Into the Woods by Butchie Neely oil on panel 24 x 20 $825.00 Having grown up in the woods, I guess I could be called a tree hugger. The barks of all trees are fascinating, but especially pines. Deep red, rich brown and moss blue… colors that aren’t even noticed until one tries to paint them. The completely rugged texture hangs like a string of blocks down the tree. This was challenging and gratifying.

Buffalo Headress by Nikki Davidson oil 25 x 21 $1,500.00 This is a portrait of Little Big Mountain, a Comanche friend of mine who generously allows me to paint him. This is a Bison headdress which was handed down from grandfather to father to son. It's very heavy and also very rare as period regalia is concerned. This headdress would be worn at tribal meetings only by the bravest of warriors. It was so heavy that historians doubt that it would have been worn in battle. It was made from the fur, horns and tail of a bison.

Among the Giants by Palma Rhoades oil on board 17.5 x 20.5 $900.00 I was inspired by the dancing effects of the sun sneaking through the atmosphere and skipping over the reflective sparkle as it hits the snow!

Camp by Marianne Pruitt oil on canvas 20 x 22.5 $800.00 I live in Suches, GA. I love the woods, gardening, medicinal foraging, horses, and oil painting. I enjoy studying with Seth Haverkamp, Marc Chaton, Cindy Baron, and Celeste McCollough.

Morning Reveal of Zion by Jackie Langford watercolor 28 x 36 $2,800.00 I dry mounted the watercolor on foam core board and sealed it with Krylon archival UV spray sealer. As added protection, I then applied a coat of GAMBLIN COLD WAX MEDIUM. This eliminates the need for glass as a part of the framing process of the piece. I prefer floating my watercolors so the framing is custom. My husband and I have been on some extensive travels photographing the US since retiring. We have been on a “walk-about” from Tennessee to California, Alaska, Texas, Nevada, the Grand Canyon, Yellow Stone and many stops in between! When we come back to our cabin, I settle into my studio to relive our experiences through painting. To get the light and lifting fog, one must get up in the dark, load camera equipment, dress in layers, and pack a brown bag snack. Then, drive to the sunrise location to setup for the dawn. Whatever the season out west in the higher elevations, dark is COLD. It is so worth the efforts. We love it. Zion makes our hearts sing! The colors and changing light - Awesome! The morning light begins its dance through the lifting veil of moisture and the promise of a brilliant day will be fulfilled yet again!

Powwow Pride by Nikki Davidson oil 26 x 22 $1,500.00 This painting was inspired by watching my friend’s dance at the Booth Museum's Cowboy Symposium. Martin is a wonderful dancer with tremendous skill and pride in his dance and is always a joy to watch. He is so adept in his dance that the watchers often find that they can't help but move their feet to his rhythm.

Bachelors by Melinda Wagner Watercolor 17 x 20 $800.00 \"Bachelors \" was inspired by our trips to Montana and Wyoming. It is always amazing to watch the huge herds of elk but there is always the younger bulls that aren’t quite ready to run against the herd bulls that hang together. They have common ground to enjoy each other's company until it's their time to be the herd bull.

Chamisa on the Rio Grande by Elizabeth Coachman Stands of brilliant yellow Chamisa flowers dot the landscape above the Rio Grande River south of Taos, New Mexico. The autumn blooms provide insects with pollen at a time when most other flowers have faded. The plant’s more common name is Rubber Rabbitbrush, but somehow Rubber Rabbitbrush on the Rio Grande sounds less enchanting.

Echo by Susan Waters oil 26 x 22 $475.00 In this painting, I wanted to emphasize the eternal quality of the western terrain, its majesty, strong color and penetrating sun, and the temporal fragility of the two travelers, man and burrow, reliant on each other within the vast landscape, sharing a bond that belies the assumed superiority of man over beast.

The Golden Years II by Cecille Morgan Here's to the old horses, the ones who have given you their all.

Colorado Summer by Lorraine Kimsey acrylic 16 x 20 $300.00 “On a trip to the Colorado mountains last summer, my husband and I hiked this mountain path. It was beautiful to see the yellow wildflowers and lupine popping up in the landscape. “

Charlie by Judy Cooper oil 26 x 22 $325.00 I often refer to my friend's Facebook photos for inspiration for a painting. In this case, I used a photo posted by my friend living in South Georgia of one of her older neighbors helping them \"lay off\" their garden. I thought \"Charlie\" leaning on his hoe struck just the right pose for a great painting.

Why Can’t I Go? By Wendy Herubin Oil on board 31.5 x 26 $1,400.00 “Why Can’t I Go” is the age-old story of sibling separation. The younger girl being left behind as her older sister goes out for a date.

Bird of Paradise by Dorothy Reavis watercolor 18 x 15 $1,200.00 The two works, “Flower Girl” and “Bird of Paradise” are portraits to express embracing the turning of the seasons. I wanted to focus on design and portraiture of women and girls of color. \"Bird of Paradise,\" focuses on balance in compositional design combined with portraiture.

Flower Girl by Dorothy Reavis watercolor 18 x 15 $1,200.00 The two works, \"Flower Girl', and \"Bird of Paradise\" are portraits to express embracing the turning of the seasons. I wanted to focus on design and portraiture of women and girls of color. In \"Flower Girl,\" I created variations of values in a monochromatic skin tone with watercolor media and use pops of magenta to emphasize the playfulness of childhood.

Dom Flemons by Susan Gore Gardiner pastel 17 x 20 $400.00 This new portrait of the amazing Dom Flemons is based on a performance I attended at The Grand Ole Opry where my front row seat allowed perfect visual access to the skill and sincerity of this talented young man. I knew of him first as a member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and now he is a ground-breaking solo artist as a proficient player of the banjo, fife, guitar, harmonica, percussion, quills, and rhythm bones. His style is described as American old-time music, Piedmont blues, and nontraditional country. He has a remarkable new album 'Black Cowboys', a collection of songs from the “Wild West” that sheds light on the prominent but often overlooked role African American pioneers played in westward expansion. The first album of its kind, Black Cowboys takes the listener on an illuminating journey “from the trails to the rails” of the Old West with a varied soundscape featuring string blues, old-time square dance music, and cowboy poetry. The portrait was created from my own photographs, using pastel pencils and soft pastel sticks to capture Dom in action.

Honey White by Linda Riddle oil 14 x 17 $175.00 I have always loved horses and wanted one when I was growing up. I have painted many horses with and without a rider in both watercolor and oils. The white against the darker background drew my attention for this painting. I used a reference photo from a website for artists.

The Copper Kettle by Melody Boggs oil on linen 21 x 25 $895.00 I was drawn to the clean lines of this copper kettle when I first spotted it in a local antique shop. I knew it had to be in a painting. Because I am a seasonal painter and we were in the throes of spring, I brought together some of my favorite things of the season- periwinkle Muscarii from my garden, a favorite vase and eggs-always a reminder of the new birth to come. I hope you enjoy!

Asian Antique Dolls by Wendy Herubin, oil on panel 14.25 x 16.25 $225.00 \"Asian Antique Dolls\" These little guys, with their colorful clothes and smiling faces, never cease to put a smile on my face...I hope they make you smile too.

Evening Blaze by Mike Strickland oil 20 x 24 $845.00 Georgia has some beautiful sunsets, especially after a stormy day. This studio painting is from a photo of one of those sunsets showing through the trees, which is the way most sunsets must be viewed in Georgia!

My Bloomin’ Clematis by Nancy Hall oil 23 x 19.5 $350.00 Last spring my Clematis bloomed so profusely and beautifully that I couldn't resist trying to capture it on canvas.

Into the Light by Mike Strickland oil 20.5 x 17.5 $475.00 My wife and I love to drive through North Georgia, especially as the Fall leaves are beginning to show their colors! This scene recalls one of those drives in late afternoon as we headed around the next bend.

A Summer Place by Claudia Downey oil on linen 16 x 19 $650.00 Every July, on our way to a local fair, we would walk past this beautiful Victorian house with a lovely veranda and colorful gardens. Truly a place that one would want to spend the summer months. The scene just begged to be painted!

Shallow Water by Marsha Hamby Savage pastel 19 x 23 $1,100.00 This painting was done from a photograph I took somewhere in North Georgia. I am always stopping to take photos of creeks with rocks. It is the kind of creek that I would have a lot of fun as a child walking in and picking up rocks, especially any shiny ones! Memories are so important, and I think that paintings can bring back memories of things we enjoyed. I believe it is why many purchase a painting. I hope you can feel like you are there in nature with this creek.

Meda’s Meadow by Linda Hanks oil 26 x 30 $700.00 I have painted a series of Meda’s Meadow who is a longtime friend and poet who lives in England. These pieces depict different scenes around her home place. This one has sheep grazing, and the shadows really caught my eye. The colors were so wonderful that I couldn’t help but be drawn to the scene of a pastoral setting.

What’s In The Shed by Marsha Hamby Savage pastel 22 x 26 $1,550.00 There seems to be something about sunflowers that many people can connect with. I think the flowers look like little happy faces and I always see them turned toward the sun! I had fun painting plein air at this location a few years ago with some of my friends, and took many reference photographs. This was done from one of those photographs and also with a couple of plein air pieces sitting around so I could have that “real life” experience of the actual colors and feeling. I have painted many different scenes from those photos and the studies. Every time I do, I think it might be the last one. No... when I scroll through my photos, I am intrigued one more time and must do another version!
