2021 MSHS Exhibition

Booth Western Art Museum Carlie Forman, 8th Grade, Woodland Middle School , Puck , Art Teacher: Abigail Hennington Middle and High School Virtual Art Exhibition March 16 - April 11, 2021

Booth Western Art Museum Children’s Art Purchase Award A piece of artwork is selected from the three annual exhibitions of Bartow County student art: Kids Cowboy Up!, Primary & Elementary School Art Exhibit, and Middle & High School Art Exhibit. One piece is purchased from each exhibit; selected for excellence in composition, technical skill, execution, and subject matter. Winning artists receive a Purchase Award and have the distinction of being displayed in the Booth Museum’s Children’s Gallery. The Booth Western Art Museum hopes these examples of creativity and excellence in art will inspire visitors of all ages. The Booth Museum’s Education Department presented the 2021 Middle and High School Exhibition Purchase Award to Woodland Middle School student Carlie Forman for her painting, Puck. This piece will join other student works in the Booth Museum’s Children’s Gallery.

Middle and High School Art Exhibit Bartow County and Cartersville City Schools At Booth Western Art Museum we take pride in providing a venue for emerging and talented young artists. The artwork in this exhibit is the product of students from middle and high schools in the Bartow County and Cartersville City School Systems. Throughout the school year, art teachers in each of the middle and high schools expose their students to a wide variety of art mediums. For this exhibit, each art teacher has selected a number of pieces that are representative of the work of their school art programs. The middle and high schools represented in the exhibit include: Adairsville Middle School, Adairsville High School, Cartersville Middle School, Cartersville High School, Cass Middle School, Cass High School, Red Top Mountain Middle School, Woodland Middle School and Woodland High School.
