CREATING MILESTONES SATS ASSISTS CAMBODIA AIRWAYS TO TRANSPORT MEDICAL SUPPLIES TO PHNOM PENH Cambodia Airways operated special urgent charter flights in May 2021, using passenger aircrafts to carry cargo in the cabins and transport much-needed medical supplies to Phnom Penh. Among the medical supplies were 2.7 tons of COVID-19 rapid test equipment. The transition from passenger to freight has saved valuable time for prevention efforts against the epidemic and its spread in Cambodia. This has also contributed significantly to the health screening work of the Cambodian people. Key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation of Cambodia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Changi Airport of Singapore and SATS, strongly supported Cambodia Airways in carrying out these special missions. CONNECTING LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN INDIA WITH VITAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES At 4.15pm on 23 April 2021, SATS received a request to handle a special military charter the following morning at 10.00am. The request was for uplifting four cryogenic oxygen cylinders from Changi Air Freight Terminal using a C-17 military aircraft from the Indian Air Force (IAF), travelling to Panagarh Air Base in India. It was the first batch of shipments containing oxygen tanks donated by the Tata Group to address the critical shortage of oxygen, ventilator machines and other essential medical supplies in the country. These efforts provide local communities in India with the means to fight the virus in hospitals and COVID-19 treatment centres across the country. To ensure the operation was carried out seamlessly in less than 24 hours, various business units (such as Apron Services and Security) organised their resources and coordinated with various parties from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Changi Airport Group, as well as freight forwarders, to prepare for the uplift of the cylinders. Despite the short notice, the SATS team rallied together to make the first uplift of the cylinders on the IAF charter a success! We are honoured to be have played a small part in connecting communities in need with vital resources to combat the pandemic. 10

COMPLIMENTS I would like to say a big thank you to SATS Ramp/Apron, Marketing and Load Control. Your teams were really fantastic in arranging the uplift for all shipments from SIN to PNH (KR752/07th May 2021), which transported critical medical supplies to Cambodia, following a request by the Cambodian government. Although there were many challenges and last-minute requests, the SATS team managed to uplift everything. I would like to offer a special note of thanks to SATS Ramp/Apron staff for carrying the special skid cargo on-board the flight cabin, and for your help in maximising the space. Also, thank you Shakinah for your prompt and frequent updates, which helped to ease my worries. Once again, a big thank you to all in the SATS team. Ms. Yvonne Lua Director Centrair GSA Services The Malindo Cargo Charter flights in January 2021 were handled very smoothly and went above expectations. The original three-hour ground time estimation was reduced to two hours. Your team really did a good job by departing before the scheduled time of departure, which was less than two hours. Although there was a larger-than-usual volume of cargo, the team still did a good job. Our charterer also extends their appreciation to the team, as they were also on-site and observed the operation. With this exemplary performance, we look forward to working with you on more cargo flights. Special thanks to Moses for being on the ground and monitoring progress. You were very helpful in coordinating and sorting all minor issues Once again, a big thank you to the whole team.
