The programme is designed for groups of medical professionals who wish to improve their skill with English in medical contexts and obtain proof of their ability via an internationally recognised test. WHAT DOES THE COURSE INCLUDE? The programme includes a blend of training in medical English and preparation for the OET* exam. *Occupational English Test is an internationally recognised exam that tailors the testing of English to medical contexts and scenarios. KEY FACTS • Location: Liverpool • Duration: 4, 8, 12 weeks of Medical English + OET Preparation.* • Lessons: 15/20 hours a week. • 15 hours: ME/OET preparation. • 20 hours: ME/OET preparation (15 hours) + General English (5 hours) - for groups with a lower level English. • Options available to practise in a medical lab. • Regular progress tests and feedback from the teachers. • End of course certificate. Students must have at least B2 listening and speaking so that they can benefit fully. For students below B2 additional General English classes can be added.
