The f e e c o v e r s t h e c o s t f o r t h e y a c h t r e n t a l a n d t h e crew’s wages, f o o d a n d c l o t h i n g ; t h e APAi n s t e a d is a de po s i t f o r o p e r a t i n g expenses u s u a l l y e q u i v a l e n t t o t h e 25-30% o f t h e c h a r t e r f e e a n d comprises, b u t is n o t limited to, fuel, harbor and marina duties, f o o d and drink. The r e m a i n i n g 50% plus t h e APA w i l l h a v e t o be paid n o l a t e r t h a n 5 weeks before t h e c h a r t e r starts. All due sums a r e payable by bank t r a n s fe r. 5 ) Tailoring y o u r pe r f ec t cruising holiday Several weeks before y o u r c h a r t e r starts, you w i l l be asked t o f u l f i l l a preference lis t where you’ll communicate a l l your needs a n d requests: preferred f o o d a n d beverage, favorite sports, type o f h o l i d a y (family, f ri e n ds , couple), d i e t a r y o r m e d i c a l r e q u i r e m e n t s , a l l e r g i e s a n d s o o n .
