Our Mission The National Jazz Festival is being launched with the goal of becoming the largest educational jazz festival for high school musicians in the country. The NJF is grounded in a philosophy of personal growth and education and this annual event will foster friendly competition, musical education and the development of lasting connections between young jazz musicians. Our host city of Philadelphia with its vibrant musical tradition and cultural diversities offers the perfect venue to achieving our aims. Schedule of Events 9:00 am to 5:00 pm: School Ensemble performances (both competitive and non-competitive) 11:00 am to 4 pm: Various clinics for students, directors and visitors 9:00 am to 5 pm: Performances in the Terrace Ballroom by collegiate bands and professional ensembles 5 pm to 9 pm: Awards Ceremony in the Terrace Ballroom where the top 4 ensembles in each division will be announced Confidential - Do not duplicate or distribute without written permission from National Jazz Festival Inc.
