Executive Appointments NEW BOARD MEMBER PROFILES MR. ROMNEY THOMAS CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD Mr. Romney Thomas is a distinguished Attorney at Law with over 25 years of experience at the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago. He is currently a Partner in the law firm of Hobsons with extensive litigation and commercial law experience. He served as Chairman of the Board of the Water and Sewerage Authority from 2015 – 2020 and is presently the Chairman of the Boards of Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission and PowerGen. He is also a Director on the Boards of Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation, a charitable organisation and Southern Medical Clinic Limited. Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School.  He is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago. MR. YU NUMASAWA BOARD MEMBER Mr. Yu Numasawa is an experienced power industry professional with skills in strategic planning, project management and finance. He joined Marubeni Corporation in 2008 and managed construction projects of various thermal power plants mainly in Indonesia and Vietnam, before he moved to the Corporate Planning Department in 2015 to assist Marubeni’s board members in formulating and initiating overall strategy in South & South East Asia.  He currently holds the position of Manager, Caribbean Operations at Marubeni Caribbean Power Inc. and also supports tariff design and business development of Jamaica Public Service, an investor-owned electric utility in Jamaica. He has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He is the father of a daughter and a son, and a tennis player on weekends. 16

Executive Appointments MRS. NATISHA MOHAMMED PLANT MANAGER Mrs. Natisha Mohammed was been appointed to the position of Plant Manager – Penal Power Station effective December 1, 2020. Mrs. Mohammed most recently held the position of Outage Manager and brings over 18 years’ experience gained from several key positions in plant operations within the electric power generation industry in Trinidad and Tobago. Natisha joined PowerGen in 2001 as an Engineer in Training and since that time successfully moved through roles such as O&M Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager and in 2016 assumed the role of Outage Manager. Mrs. Mohammed holds a BSc. Mechanical Engineering (Upper Second Class Honours) as well as a MSc. Production Management, both from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and an MBA from the Heriot-Watt University (EBS) of Scotland (UK). She has also pursued a wide range of leadership, management and industry - specific training courses over her 18+ year career. Mrs. Mohammed believes that with her wealth of experience, adaptability to change, her capacity to leverage the strengths of her team and her philosophy of continuous learning, she can bring sustained value to the Penal Power Plant. PowerGen’s then-General Manager THEN-GENERAL MANAGER appointed to CARILEC Board APPOINTED TO CARILEC BOARD On September 23rd, 2020, then-General Manager of PowerGen, Mr. Surindranath Ramsingh was elected to the Board of Directors of The Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) Director. The term of this appointment is for the period 2020 to 2021. The Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) is an association of electric energy solutions providers and other stakeholders operating in the electricity industry in the Caribbean region, Central and South Americas. Mr. Ramsingh’s appointment to CARILEC’S Board took place as part of their 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held virtually. We congratulate Mr. Ramsingh on his appointment and are assured that his extensive industry expertise will provide great value beyond our shores toward the advancement of the electricity sector in the Caribbean and Latin America. 17

PowerGen’s “We Care for our Country” campaign sought to provide support of our national community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Other donations included seventy-three (73) Nano-SIM enabled tablets to the Ministry of Education’s Adopt- A-School Programme, food hampers distributed to two hundred and fifty (250) needy families and partnerships with organisations in the areas of sustainable agriculture and retraining of unemployed and underemployed citizens.
