ILL USTDwarf Clown RAT ION Once upon a time, there was an ugly dwarf clown, whose job was to make the king and his daughters laugh and enjoy themselves. This clown gave and distributed whatever he could earn from making the king laugh, among poor people, so he didn’t have much money or any other property or asset. One day the king got up from the wrong side of the bed and was impatient. They brought him tea but he didn’t drink. They brought food, but once again he refused to eat. They brought some musical instrument and played music, but he didn’t listen. They had to appeal to clown. Poor, kind clown made every gesture to make the angry and bad-tempered king laugh, but it didn’t work. He jumped up and down, turned down, but it wasn’t effective either. Suddenly while he was turning, one of his pair of shoes came out and stroke the king’s forehead unin- tentionally! The sullen king changed into crazy and angry king... Drypoint is a printmaking technique, in which an image is incised into a plate with a hard-pointed «needle» of sharp metal or diamond point. Based on a drawing which was drawn by me with pen in 2018. 30 PRINTMAKING

I take photos of ancient buildings and use them as much as I can in my drawings or print ones. This one was done based on a historical place in Baku, Azerbaijan. PRINTMAKING 31
