Ancillae News Bulletin April 2022 | Volume 1 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Rom 15: 13)
My dear Sisters, Warm greetings and blessings to all! Pope Francis in his book ‘Let Us Dream’ speaks on how to handle a crisis of any kind in our own lives and the world at large. He reveals, how the crises in his own life changed him dramatically for the better. He mentions candidly, that crisis presents us with a choice. When we try to return to some pre-crisis state, we make a grave error. Nevertheless, if we have the courage to change, we will emerge from the crisis stronger than ever. This in fact is the message the Risen Christ exhorts us – To trust and hope in the Divine Plan, to surrender to the Divine will in all circumstances of our lives. Easter is a message of hope and a new beginning that tells us, come what may we are not to be discouraged or disappointed when faced with the turbulent waters of our lives whether it is the unexpected turn of events in our lives, our fears, our failures, the small and big moments of betrayals, rejections, misunderstandings or unfair treatments. Easter gives us the energy to weave our life and activities looking toward the future with hope, that when faced with courage and a conviction all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. 1 Ancillae News Bulletin, April 2022
Dear Sisters, during this Easter, let us look into our lives and retrospect how we have been facing the small and big challenges of our lives. Do we accept and face the crisis on our way or do we try to escape from them? Do we still have the same passion and enthusiasm in our life of consecrated secularity as in our first commitment? To lose heart, often, we have so many examples around and sometimes we fall into darkness or despair. Our greatest enemy is the unwillingness to believe in the dawn, in the resurrection. Let us rebuild and rejuvenate in us the hope that the Risen Christ brings us. Let us keep our lives alive with that hope when we are faced with discouragement and lethargy. Hope is the gift of God to us. This becomes visible through the activities we are undertaking for the people of God in our daily life whether they are big or small. Let us do everything with new energy and enthusiasm that stems forth from the Hope that Risen Christ gives us and lighten the world around us with the Easter light. It is as much a call to respond as it is a sign of our commitment. May the Risen Christ Bless us all… 2 Ancillae News Bulletin, April 2022
