When he is not running the business, Alain can be found running the streets of Singapore in preparation for his next ultramarathon. Alain co-founded Alpadis Group in Switzerland and spearheaded the company’s growth into Asia, yet despite his busy schedule he has never lost his appetite for long distance running. Recent ultramarathons include running 250km across the Gobi Desert and 127km across Antarctica, each race taking multiple days and forcing him out of his comfort zone. The deserts of Mongolia are a far cry from the offices and board rooms that he has spent much of his professional career in. Before co-founding Alpadis Group Alain has spent over 30 years in wealth planning, management and financing services. He has worked with one of the Big Four firms, Ernst and Young, providing core audit and tax services as well as several leading independent trust companies in Geneva. Alain brings his entrepreneurial streak, wealth planning expertise and taste for endurance to Alpadis Group, successfully opening new offices in Asia and expanding the company’s range of services. He lives in Singapore, speaks English and French and his views on wealth planning, corporate services and leadership are regularly used by the media. Dominik Heer is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Managing director of Alpadis Group, based in Singapore. Dominik supports the Group’s CEO in all operational and strategic aspects, and he oversees the Group’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) advisory activities. A Swiss national who speaks English, German and French, Dominik loves travelling around Asia and staying off the beaten track – preferably climbing a volcano or mountain. Dominik has a passion for heritage buildings, interior design and vintage furniture, is a magna cum laude graduated lawyer and holds a MBA degree from ESADE School of Business. In addition to operational and strategic aspects, Dominik also oversees the Group’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities, including a range of advisory services for cross-border transactions spanning Asia-Pacific and Europe for privately-owned companies and institutional investors (family offices, private equity and venture capital firms). Dominik draws on over 15 years of investment management and M&A experience across Europe and South-East Asia facilitating over USD$600 million in M&A transactions. He also serves and have served on numerous company boards as a non-Executive Director in Europe and Asia, with a particular interest in SMEs who face family succession, or are looking at rapid growth, and need a partner who can help guide them. Joan Lee is the Alpadis Group Company Administrator, leading the administrative services department and the administration of a number of the Group’s clients. She also plays a leading role in advising clients who wish to expand and set up entities in Singapore, guiding companies and entrepreneurs on all regulatory, compliance and corporate governance matters. Joan draws on over 25 years’ experience in the corporate secretarial field in leading companies and private banks. Joan is a Singaporean, speaks English and Mandarin and is a member of the Singapore Association of the Institute Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Rob then joined the Alpadis Group team after Louvre Fiduciary (HK) Limited was acquired in 2018. Rob is a full member of STEP and is a British national with Hong Kong residency.
