Global efforts to Strengthen Scientific and Technological Support, along with local plans on focusing on establishing an effective system for water supply and providing clean water supply are only few of the agendas on hand towards the development of water quality and sanitation. The EU - China Environmental Governance NEDA has a master plan that focuses Programme formulated a plan to enhance on eight key reform agendas; water pollution control and ensure water establishing effective water supply safety for the nation. The plan will speed up and promote the adoption of appropriate and sanitation sector institutions, technologies, particularly for drinking water strengthening the regulatory treatment, urban rainwater collection and environment, creating and ensuring recycling, safe reuse of recycled water, water effective water supply and sanitation ecological restoration, and pollution services, balancing water supply and prevention in livestock breeding. It shall demand, building climate resilience, improve the mechanism for evaluating enabling access to financing, environmental technology, expand the managing data and information to platform for exchanging environmentally determine baseline and gaps of friendly technology, and encourage the investments, and driving research transformation of technological and development in the sector. achievements. Implementation of the Pollution Release and Transfer Register (PRTR) Policy in the PH PRTR policies have been instrumental in preventing pollution in countries like Japan, Australia and Canada. Currently, the DENR has no complete data on what chemicals factories are discharging into our rivers and lakes. Communities living around these bodies of water suffer because they do not know what chemicals are present in their locality, and how their water supply is slowly being contaminated. In this way, communities would have access to information about these pollutants. Mandatory Kitchen-Sink Disposable in Homes Any food that is sent down the disposal will be filtered and captured at a wastewater treatment facility. The debris captured are typically sent off to a landfill, incinerator or to an anaerobic digestion facility (for conversion into energy) if one is close by. Using an advanced garbage disposals can lessen the environmental impact of food waste by sending the processed food particles — from meat, bones, even banana peels — through a home’s plumbing system to facilities equipped to handle them, rather than sitting in landfills and contributing to excess methane. It's time to bring the blue back to our waters. Urban flooding is often left ignored when water pollution is being discussed despite its severity especially to congested communities. The most feasible and accessible way that the people can do to mitigate such issue is increasing our urban green spaces. Instead of more shopping malls and condominiums, why don't we create more public parks and green spaces? Increasing trees, ground and rooftop gardens, mangroves, and even just shrubs & plants along our boulevards will play a massive role in reducing flood risks, clear our waterways, filter nearby waters, and improve water quality. This wil help with our growing wastewater problem, which has become worse in recent years. Green spaces are able to filter rain and groundwater, and utilizing this natural filter could make our wastewater problem slightly less problematic. #GreensHelpBlues
