Dear Aircrew,Many of you may be aware that we had our inaugural team bonding event inFebruary 2017. The event was designed to help our teams of pilots and cabincrew to forge stronger friendship. It is also one of many initiatives aimed atrecognizing the important role played by our pilots and cabin crew in promotingflight safety and exceptional customer experience.Those of you who have been with the Flight Operations Department since itsinception would have witnessed how we have changed and grown over the years.There is no better way to recognize the immense contributions of our pilots andcabin crew to the success of the Flight Operations Department than to have a daydedicated to them.In line with the above, Flight Operations Department has decided to designate 1stFebruary as “Aircrew Day”.We would like our Aircrew Day to be part of the start of an annual celebration notjust to express our appreciation to the people who make the difference to theFlight Operations Department but to invigorate us to challenge the future.While 1st February is designated Aircrew Day, we will be organizing a series ofactivities throughout the month to commemorate this special day. Their loyalty, commitment and can do attitude have seen the airline overcome many challenges that airlines in other parts of the world have succumbed to. The challenge for our present team members is to sustain the good work established by our pioneers and bring Jetstar Asia to greater height.
