Dear Redlands Parents and Carers Happy New Year. We trust you remain safe and well through this holiday period. As we commence 2022, we are delighted to share the exceptional results achieved by our Year 12 2021 students in the International Baccalaureate examinations. Of the IB cohort of 70 students, 33% achieved an ATAR of 99 or more, 69% achieved an ATAR of 95 or more and 89% achieved an ATAR of 90 or more. In addition, all students were awarded an IB Diploma. We congratulate all of the students who applied themselves so diligently to their studies, achieving Redlands’ best ever IB results in a very challenging year. We sincerely thank all their teachers, along with parents and carers, for their guidance, care and support. A special mention of Theo Mirrlees-Black, 2021 School Captain, and Ross Psaroulis who both achieved perfect IB scores of 45/45, equating to an ATAR of 99.95. Alongside these perfect scores, nine students achieved an IB score of 44/45, equating to an ATAR of 99.75. Further details of their achievements and those of our many top performing students are highlighted in the following pages. We are exceptionally proud of the Class of 2021. In addition to their academic achievements, we recognise and congratulate the students for their many cocurricular contributions and outstanding leadership across the School throughout their Redlands education. Their significant determination, resilience and character in creating an inclusive and supportive school culture has been inspiring. The HSC results will be released on 24 January and we look forward to sharing these results with you later this month, along with a more comprehensive overview of the achievements of the Class of 2021. Stay safe and please enjoy the remainder of the holidays. Yours sincerely Stephen Webber Principal
