MANOR 01 HOUSE An historical building marries perfectly with a Mid-Century Modern interiors

This incredible gran period home is a property with an impressive heritage. Every part of the house tells a story that needs to be preserved at the present days. The style has an undeniably timeless appeal, the interiors are defined by clean lines, minimal ornamentation and high practicality as well as functionality. Conservativeness and freshness are the keys to find the right balance between past and present. TIMELESS

Revit The architecture of the Manor House is an historical 16th 3D Exterior century restored building. The structure is wrapped of red Rendering and grey bricks and it is surrounded by an astonishing garden. The inside environment has been integrated with everything a family might need in a modern lifestyle while still allowing the home’s stunning period details to shine through. The manor house is divided into a daylife floor and a night floor. On the first floor is located the daytime area with a full connection to the outside and the garden, whereas the night area is on the second floor to provide warmth and privacy. This layout division helps to contain and perform safely all the daily activities in a single floor without denying an easy access to all the different rooms of the house.

The interiors of the Manor house are Revit characterised by an interesting colour 3D Interior scheme. Rendering The use of a bold colour like Navy Blue on furniture creates accent points and brings character to the space, whereas a neutral shade of white on walls helps the eyes to take a respite. Gold metal finishes are echoed throughout the space, adding an extra layer of visual interest and playing a prominent role in the entire design scheme. Furniture, identifies the characteristic aspect of the Mid- Century Modern style; clean lines, smooth and flat cabinetry exhale simplicity and functionality. The surrounding space is enriched with geometric moulding on the walls bringing texture and pattern to the environment. The overall appearance is elegant and simple.

The Manor House living room follows the same, but reversed, colour scheme as the rest of the house. Blue Navy paint on walls evokes feelings of calm and serenity embracing the drama and luxury appeal. The british light enhances its pigments, giving a sense of endless space and opportunity. The contrasting materials of the interior such as metals, glass, wood and fabric create a dynamic fusion of textures. Custom coffee tables provide a strong vibe that compliments the design. MINIMALIST 02 LIVING ROOM The essence of minimalism embraces the exotic

The Minimalist Living Room is a formal area aimed to entertain guests. Inspired by a busy and frenetic lifestyle of a nowadays family, the room focuses on essentials. Designed with simple geometry and a less-is-more approach, the living room embodies contemporary and astonishing furniture, making the space welcoming and unique. The high practicality and functionality of furniture are melted with compelling interiors. LESS IS MORE

SketchUp The minimalist living room interior combines a muted Interior colour palette stimulating texture and materials creating a 3D Rendering soothing atmosphere. Floor to ceiling windows connects the room to the outdoor, allowing natural light to illuminate the whole room and feel the space open. The delicate brown wall is emphasised from a deep green painted palm leaf bringing an exotic and warm wave to the minimalist living room. The wall is highlighted with artificial light in order to enhance the interest. A geometric Crema D’orcia marble wall creates a striking accent point within the space harmoniously blending with the rest of the room. The design focuses on simplicity and originality leaving only the space to sophistication.

Materials and Furniture

FAMILY MOORE LIVING ROOM 03 Inspired by childhood memories of Mr. Moore’s farmhouse at Peak District and his love for photography

John Moore, a successful CEO in a IT company, and his wife Annika, a stay-at-home mum, decided to transform their traditional living room in a multi-purpose space, adaptable for their children too. The couple had comfort, practicality and creativity in mind. The room reflects a dynamic space planning in order to fulfil the requests and needs of the family creating an interactive space. The family Moore’s living room recalls the same feeling of comfort and welcoming transmitted from John's childhood farmhouse. Organic and natural materials are incorporated into the design scheme, emphasising the connection between the indoor and the outdoor space. PEAK DISTRICT

Personality, memories and the great love for the outdoor of the Moore's family led to a Country Style choice. The interiors combine a neutral colour palette with a selection of natural materials that create a dynamic fusion of textures. The fireplace as a focal point of the room invites people to relax, creating a cosy and warming atmosphere. Exposed wooden beams on the ceiling and unconventional decor, such as firewood stored on the wall, draw visual interest adding character to the room. A selection of dark wooden furniture are characterised by simple lines in order to maintain continuity within the environment. Concept Board

Wimborne, White, No 239, Modern Emulsion from Farrow & Ball is only a shade away from a pure white. A small amount of yellow pigment softens the colour by creating a warmer shade. This tone of white appears to be in a perfect balance with the natural stones Ivory Quartzite. The latter includes a neutral grey tone and a scattering of warm sand and beige elements. Weathered woods, off-white painted walls and natural stones applied on walls, create a space that embraces current trend while acknowledging the past. Nordic Oak hardwood flooring emphasises the connection with the natural environment. This flooring has the peculiarity to be practical to maintain and easy to clean. Wall and Floor Finishes

Custom A jewellery workbench requested from Annika is made of Jewellery hardwood in order to provide a solid and excellent work Workbench space. Wood is in fact the best material to work with as it is strong, long lasting and can withstand heat. The workbench has been designed to be higher than a usual table to keep a correct back posture whilst working. This led the stool seat to be lower than the workbench. The jewellery workbench has been provided with five drawers designed to store tools and three slide out trays. Two of the slide-out trays are placed right below the benchtop: the first one has the function of collecting dust, whereas the other one can be used to place tools momentarily used while working. The small gap left on the front side of the benchtop allows to place a wooden bench peg, an essential tool for a jewellery maker. The overall Jewellery workbench has been designed considering any detail: aesthetic, functionality and style of the room.

Accessories The accessories represented in the design scheme seem to Presentation complement the country room mostly due to their natural Board materials. The handmade Gabbeh rug highlights the relaxing area through its unicity. It is made by natural wool and characterised by many varieties of colours shading obtained with natural vegetable dyes. Some of the cushions selected in the design scheme mirror the fabric of the sofas as they are made by the same company Andrew Martin in linen fabric. Others instead are made by Scottish linen fabric on one side and wool on the back side recalling the rugs material. The representation of the three deers in a big size wall-art adds a sense of freedom and wildness within the room. Cushions, throw and the artwork on the wall, can be easily replaced with a different following trend without any effort. A wooden set picture frames allows Mr.Moore to display his pictures, whereas a tiny spot provided with metallic accessories, will remind him of the characteristic elements of a farmhouse. The plant pot sets are handmade through recycled plastic and environmentally friendly cinnamon wood.
