Learn about Credits Credits: 4 ELA 4 Math 4 Science 4 Social Studies 2 Foreign Language .5 Professional Communications .5 Health 1 PE (can be PE, Athletics, Dance, Marching Band) 1 Fine Arts + 5 Electives ----------------------- 26 In order to become a sophomore, you must earn 6 credits THIS YEAR. 12 credits = Junior status 18 credits = Senior status If you don’t earn 6 credits this year, while you may have a sophomore class next year, you will still be considered a freshman. :( Each semester you earn ½ (.5) credits. Every .5 credit counts! You should have 3.5 credits by this Christmas!

Attendance ● To receive credit in a class, YOU must attend at least 90% of the time in that class per semester. This applies to Synchronous and Asynchronous classes. ● If you attend less than 90% of the time in a class per semester, a plan will be put in place to fulfill your requirements for owed hours. ● ALL absences, whether excused or unexcused, can keep you from receiving credit for a class.

Clubs and Organizations

Parking Permits To purchase a parking permit, you must have: 1. A fully completed form. 2. Your current Driver's License. 3. Your current insurance card. 4. Cash or pay online at the LHS Web Store (no checks accepted). August – May, cost is $50.00. May, cost is $25.00 Replacement Permits are $10. 5. Parent permission signature required if under 18 years old. If you have not purchased a parking permit, parked on campus, and vehicle is booted, it is $25 removal fee. If your parking permit is NOT properly displayed, your vehicle will be booted. The fine to have the boot removed for not properly displaying your parking permit is $10. In Person Norms ❖ Students must follow the Student Code of Conduct (either in person or virtual) ❖ Follow your daily school schedule (either in person or virtual) ❖ Give your best efforts on your school assignments ❖ Actively participate in face-to-face learning activities or live virtual sessions as instructed by teachers ❖ Be organized in your work and in getting projects completed ❖ Ask questions and communicate with your teacher ❖ Be aware of what you should be learning each day ❖ Turn in all assignments on time
