________________________________________________________ DCTI- Initiative National Skill Development Training Program: Modern Methods in Pharmaceutical Analysis 2022 (M2PA-2022) Two-week Skill Development Training Program on : HPLC & Related Technologies: LC-Method Development & Troubleshooting (1st week: 14th -18th March 2022 -online workshop: open for registration & 2nd week: hands on lab session: to be shortlisted participants from workshop) __________________________________________________________________________________ M2PA-2021 Skill development training program is aimed to provide hands-on training by experienced industrial scientists and expert professors from academia to bridge the gap of industry academia for the benefit of pharmaceutical industry job aspirants. The Indian Pharmaceutical Industry is looking for skilled scientific manpower for Analytical R&D and Quality control department requirements. In this connection Daicel Chiral Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd initiated the M2PA-2021 skill development training program in association with Royal Society of Chemistry (London) - LSD to bridge the gap and train the master students and qualified unemployed youth to enable their career in buoyant Indian pharmaceutical industry. The main aim of this program is to enhance the practical skills of the students looking for suitable scientific opportunities in the Pharmaceutical Industry. The program ensures the continuous learning experience through expert lectures, assignment- workshops, group discussions and hands-on experience sessions on modern analytical techniques which are in demand for the pharmaceutical industry. The seven days (4-day online theory +3 day practical sessions) long theoretical and practical oriented skill development training program will be helpful to understand the practical concepts of modern analytical techniques, majorly HPLC, which includes instrumentation, sample preparation, method development, troubleshooting and applications through theoretical and practical sessions shall be conducted at Daicel Chiral Technologies India (DCTI)-Knowledge Centre, Hyderabad, Genome Valley, Hyderabad. The DCTI-RSC

joint certification will be awarded to the participants after successful completion of the job oriented practical skill development training program. Daicel chiral technologies India in association with the Royal Society of Chemistry (London) - Local Section Deccan, will be organizing this M2PA-2022 at DCTI-Knowledge Centre, Shamerpet, Hyderabad from 14th to 18st Jan 2022 (online classes-1 week) and hands-on practical sessions (1-week) will be conducted in different batches for the shortlisted participants (to be announced during the online workshop). The participants would get an opportunity to interact with experts to gain practical skills through this DCTI-RSC collaborative M2PA-2022 skill development training program. Eligibility criteria: (i) M.Pharm/M.Sc, Final year or degree completed (un-employed) on the following subjects; pharmacy/analytical chemistry/life sciences students. Note: Preference will be given to the meritorious students. (If we receive more than the required number of applications, we will conduct online written test to select the students.) Limited no of seats: i. 50 nos (online classes for selected participants) ii. 20 nos (hands-on sessions for shortlisted active participants from online classes (ii) Faculty development program (FDP): working faculty members in pharmacy and chemistry related subjects (limited seats) Topics to be covered: Practical aspects of HPLC technique & related technologies in pharmaceutical analysis. Registration: Interested candidates enrol for the program by sending the attached application form duly filled to the convenor on or before 10th Mar 2022. Free Registration and accommodation will be provided for selected candidates at the DAICEL premises. A nominal fee will be charged for food to all the admitted candidates for this program.

(i) Nomination is required by HODs/Professors of the universities/institutes/college of their master’s degree along with participant’s bio-data including previous year percentage of marks in all subjects. (ii) Those who have completed the course and waiting for employment can send their CV along with reference names and contact details of mentor/professor/ principal of the previous college/institute.
