Kaydee Erdreich-Breman Rebecca Gordon Update on Reorganizing & Catherine Graham Categorizing The Engel Library Ginger Held Ira Holt As my internship at Temple Emanu-El comes to an end, Jay Humphries I thought some reflections and thanks were definitely Helen Levine in order. The cataloging and organization of this Rosalind Markstein congregation’s Engel Library was a more daunting task in reality than in theory. During my time at your Temple, I have been able Leigh Anne Nomberg to set up an online integrated library system that handles everything from Eli Pinhas patron information to checking materials in and out to cataloging the David Pizitz materials in your library. With the help of many wonderful volunteers, Carly Rogoff I have managed to catalog and organize the Leah Marks Teens Collection and the children’s section of the library. The children’s portion of the library Marc Rutstein has been divided into Youth and Easy Reader. The Youth materials include David Skier Youth Fiction, Youth Holiday, Youth Nonfiction, and Youth Biography. The Carlie Somerville Easy Reader materials include Easy Reader, Easy Reader Bible Stories, Stephen Steinmetz Easy Reader Nonfiction, and Easy Reader Holiday. The Adult section Shana Watson of the library still needs cataloging, and I have high hopes of someone Norman Weinberg finishing this project with as much enthusiasm Steve Weinstein and dedication as I have applied to my internship. I would like to personally thank Monika Singletary for giving me this opportunity and Kathryn Paulter for always being my biggest cheerleader and friend during my internship. But most of all, I must thank all of my volunteers for giving their time and putting their love into all that they did to help me in the advancement of getting this beautiful collection of materials a chance at being a one of a kind library at a one of a kind Temple.
