His literary works in support of India’s independence movement led the British to arrest him. Singh was born on 4 July 1897 in Chak Hamid in Jhelum district (now in Pakistan). Gulzarilal Nanda (4 July 1898 – 15 January 1998), was an Indian politician and economist. He was the only person ever to have served as the caretaker prime minister, in addition to the thirteen prime ministers of India. Dedicated to the Congress party, Gulzarilal Nanda was first made the prime minister in 1964 after the death of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He became the prime minister in 1966 after the death of Lal Bahadur Shastri for the second time. His tenure was limited to the same time both the times till the Congress party did not elect its new leader. He was born on 4 July 1898 in Sialkot, India. Naseem Bano (4 July 1916 – 18 June 2002), was a leading Indian film actress in Hindi films of the forties. He was a scholar of literature, philosophy, and history, spreading the fragrance of Indian culture abroad as a young monk. The original name of Vivekananda was ‘Narendranath Dutt’, who later became famous as Swami Vivekananda. The epoch-making spiritual master, who made Hinduism dynamic and practical and urged the modern man to integrate Western science and materialism with the spiritual culture of India to build a strong civilization. Born in an aristocratic family in Calcutta, Narendranath was a unique combination of contemplation, devotion, and rationality, physical and intellectual excellence as well as musical talent. In India, the birthday of Swami Vivekananda is celebrated as National Youth Day. He died on 4 July 1902 in Belur Math, Bengal Presidency, British India (present-day West Bengal, India). Pingali Venkayya (2 August 1876 – 4 July 1963), was an Indian freedom fighter. He was a follower of Mahatma Gandhi and the designer of the ‘Tiranga’ national flag of India. He was also a true patriot of India, a great freedom fighter, and an agricultural scientist. Venkayya died on 4 July 1963 in Vijayawada.
