Naoroji is renowned for his work in the Indian National Congress, of which he was one of the founding members and thrice the elected president in – 1886, 1893, 1906 Indian nationalist and critic of British economic policy in India. Maharaja Gulab Singh (17 October 1792 – 30 June 1857) the founder of the Dogra dynasty and the first Maharaja of the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, the second-largest princely state under the British Raj, which was created after the defeat of the Sikh Empire in the First Anglo-Sikh War.
