JUNE 2022 | VOL. 2 PIONEERING UP A STORM Two of our senior Scouts recently conducted major pioneering projects at the hall. Bianca and Michael both not only made beautiful scale models of their builds, they successfully managed and oversaw the build and later dismantling of the structures. Well done.

JUNE 2022 | VOL. 2 RAIN AND COLD... IT WAS KONTIKI TIME! It was cold and it rained buckets. It must have been Kontiki! After two years of no Kontiki (due to the pandemic), Scouts from around Johannesburg and Pretoria could once again show off their skills in raft building and camping at the annual Kontiki held at Arrowe Park in Kempton Park. Well done to our Scouts on their 2nd place overall and to 1st Parkmore (that joined us) on their third! Celebrations were in order!

JUNE 2022 | VOL. 2 The Scouts from 1st Parkmore joined our Scouts to have a \"shakedown\" on what happened at Kontiki, but also to celebrate with cake, eats and loads of fun. Well done to all involved.

JUNE 2022 | VOL. 2 CUB AND MEERKAT OPEN DAY In June, we hosted a special evening for potential Cubs and Meerkats. Little ones and their parents from the surrounding area were invited to come and see what being a Cub and Meerkat is all about. Thanks to our Scouts who stepped in to help entertain our future Springbok Scouts.
