SOCIAL We now live in a time where information is readily available at our fingertips and MEDIA we can access information anywhere and at anytime we want. NETWORK Over the last couple of years there has also been an increase in the use of social media platforms as a way of accessing information; many organisations have taken note of this and are now embracing social media platforms as an alternative way of reaching their stakeholders. The Gauteng Department of Economic Development, as a department that is responsible for economic growth in Gauteng, wants all departmental information to be accessible to all members of the public, particularly the people of Gauteng. Therefore the department is using various social media platforms as an alternative way of reaching the public. @GautengDED | Gauteng Department of Economic Development Gauteng Department of Economic Development | gautengded1 2 GAUTENG DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MY BUSINESS | MY GAUTENG | MY ECONOMY
