The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all. Peace Day provides a globally shared date for humanity to commit to peace above all differences and to contribute to building a culture. This is the day to recognize the efforts of those who have worked hard to end conflict and pro- mote peace . To mark The International Day of peace Grade 6A has conducted an assembly which provide the platform for the students to showcase their tal- ents and promote peace.

School gardens can have many different uses and have been seen in many different ways, some practi- cal and some educational. At Dunes International school ,Children enjoyed watering the plants in the vertical garden. The classes have taken turns to water the vertical garden. In this week girls of grade 6–8 got the opportunity to water the garden. The outcome was to know how to grow things in a safe and sustainable way, and how to run their own successful gardens

Writers’ Hub Activities. Department of English shared ideas for effec- tive and creative writing skill with the topic “Tale of a Tail” where children came out with their own creative ideas. PowerPoint Presentation Topic: Traditional Sports of UAE The students of grade 7 G had prepared a PPT on the above topic and presented it to the class. This ac- tivity motivated them to present their research work on ‘Traditional sports of UAE’ and how it pro- motes to keep their heritage alive for future generations. They understood that various sporting activi- ties collaborate together to play an active role in promoting tourism in the country.

Social Studies: Project Grade 6 students did the project work on the fea- tures of Indus valley civilization. It develops the child's ability to work with his or her peers, building teamwork and group skills. They have done research work on the topic and collected information and pic- tures and presented in the class. Through this activity students learned about the features of Indus valley civilization such as their town planning, administra- tion, religion, food, trade etc. Power point presentation Topic. . Minerals and power resources The students of grade 8 prepared a PPT on the top- ic Minerals and power resources. In this activity students did research on the varied uses of miner- als. The activity linked with IT skills. By this activity students gained confidence presentation and speaking skills

Students of Grade 8 have devel- oped the sense of entrepreneur- ship and deepened their under- standing of profit, loss and dis- count percentages by calculating the cost and selling price of the articles during a super sale offers.

Les saisons A systematic process of reviewing and evaluating the topic of seasons helped the students to revise the topic for the forth coming exam. French students enacted as seasons themselves de- livering the dialogues taught to them in an effective way. This method of revision proved beneficial as the students were clear with the topic.

Speaking skills: Topic- conversation . Grade6 students were doing role play. Speaking skills are the skills that give us the ability to communicate effectively. These skills allow the speaker, to convey his message in a passionate, thoughtful, and convincing man- ner. Speaking skills also help to as- sure that one won't be misunder- stood by those who are listening. Communicative activities include any activity that encourage and re- quire a learner to speak with and listen to other learners, as well as with people in the program and community.

AI Activity: Dream Smart Home Purpose: Icebreaker activity to get the students excited towards the AI curriculum. Students were given the opportunity to design their Dream smart Home. Students came up with different ideas. Students were able to state their opinions and then explain why they think their activity is the best.
