An exhibition is typically both a learning experience in itself and a means of evaluating academic progress and achievement. Dunes International school has given a platform for the students where they all can exhibit their talents and learning through their innovative models and ideas.







Tajneed- The capsule Learning Moves\" The Tajneed leadership team of Dunes con- ducted a Breast Cancer awareness program for the bus monitors. The goal of breast cancer awareness campaigns was to raise the public's \"brand awareness\" for breast cancer, its detec- tion, its treatment, and the need for a reliable and permanent cure. They also shared the Diwali sweets and ex- pressed their gratitude for their service to- wards the students.

CLASS ASSEMBLY Grade 6 G1 presented an assembly on Breast cancer awareness. Through a street play they conveyed the message to the group , the importance of healthy diet and how to prevent the disease. “Prevention is better than Cure” The Pink Ribbon: The pink ribbon is the symbol for the breast cancer awareness, which is used as a concept brand. It com- bines the fear of cancer with the hope for successful treatment and encourages such people to buy or wear a pink ribbon to demonstrate their support and increase awareness of the brand. Aim of the Pink Campaign: Breast cancer awareness is a movement that aims to increase awareness and reduce stigma linked to the symptoms and treatment of breast cancer. Through the provision of education about the characteristics of breast cancer to the general public, supporters believe that more people can become informed about the disease, leading to improved treatment outcomes for the affected women due to earlier detection and better treatment methods.



Shakespearean era marks a significant part of English Literature especially its spellbind- ing plays are universal and known to everyone even after centuries. Students of grade 6-8 exhibited their literary skills during DUNES EXPRESSIONS-2019, wherein they enacted 4 of Shake- speare’s renowned plays: King Lear, Othello, Macbeth, and Jul- ius Caesar. The students’ enthusi- asm knew no boundaries as their acting and use of English lan- guage with proper diction was praised by everyone.

“I SPY SCIENCE” In its initiative to promote participatory and experiential learning, Dunes international school organized cross curricular exhibition “Dunes Expression”. The exhibition aimed to provide a common platform for students to shape their innovative ideas and learn from each other’s experiences. With the motive of popularizing science and increasing awareness among stakeholders about close relationship between Science, Technology and society, grade 6 to 8 students exhibited their practical skills on the theme “I Spy Science”.

Students of grades 6 to 8 pre- sented models integrating mathematical concepts with real life situations. Math Expo has not only helped them deepen their understanding of the con- cepts but also exposed them to the contexts of their application. Students creatively presented the use of various concepts of simple and compound interest in banking.

LE LOUVRE at Dunes Museum projects lead to transformation of experiences in teaching and learning. Designing and making of a museum in a school provides rich opportunities for students to access the larger resources that goes beyond school-based resources. Students experience the taste of Louvre Abu Dhabi as they modeled LE Louvre at Dunes. It created Global awareness' about the artefacts displayed in Louvre and also the famous monuments of France.

Islamic Education The Quran is the ultimate green-guide. Believed to be a sublime revelation with remarkable ideas, this divine scripture is scrupulously read by Muslims for spirituality. The Quran therefore, doesn’t just link belief in o, benefits and the reason of the revelation ne god ( Taw heed) to being nice to plants and keeping a pet. The Quran glorifies nature and wild life as an earthly heaven, a mirror to the lush forests of paradise above. The students from 6-8 exhibits the Quranic garden, miracle garden and plants mentioned in the Holy Quran were displayed. Benefits and the reason of the revelation of those plants were explained by the students.

A parent-teacher conference is a great opportunity to:  share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, portfolios, and assignments  learn from parents or guardians so you can be better informed about students' strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles  discuss enrichment or intervention strategies to support students' learning discuss issues that may be interfering with students' learning and growth



Dunes International School orga- nized an inter-school football Cup “DFC” to foster the sporting skills of the schools. Six schools across Abu Dhabi participated in the one day cup where they displayed their sporting skills. Competitive spirit was at its peak throughout the matches. The school congratulated

One of the best ways to help kids become genuinely grateful is by modeling grati- tude. Express sincere thanks when you are grateful for some- one else.
