Academics Some of the majors that I find interesting are astronomy, aquatic science, and geography. Some requirements of an honors program are an extra, expanded resume. Admission requirements To be considered to UT, you need at least a 3.68 GPA and an SAT/ACT score of at least 1230. Application deadlines for this years honors program ended on November 1, 2019. It costs $75 to fill out an application for UT. There are over 50,000 applications to UT Austin a year!

Description of UT Austin UT Austin is a public, non-religious, and co-ed campus. Of UT´s 50,950 students, 46% are male and 54% are female and for every faculty member, there is 19 students

Interesting Campus Info The campus at UT Austin has 437 acres and 150 buildings. It was founded on September 15, 1883. Some of the traditions the faculty and the students have created are ¨hook ´em horns, burnt orange and white and BEVO.¨

Area Activities The closest place to shop to UT Austin is Longhorn ltd. which is .4 miles from the campus. The closest entertainment center is Millenium Entertainment Center which is 1.9 miles from campus. The closest place to get a bite to eat is The Carillion which is .6 miles from campus.

Student Life:Sports Some of the sports at UT Austin include, baseball, boys basketball, girls basketball, football, soccer boys and girls, softball, track and field, and volleyball.

Greek Life Some of the Fraternities on campus are Alpha Kappa, Alpha Sorority inc., Alpha Kappa Delta, Phi sorority, Alpha Phi, Alpha Fraternity inc., Beta Chi, and Theta National Fraternity inc.

Student Housing Most students live off campus at an 82%. 18% live on campus.

My Personal Major The major I want at this school is astronomy which is in Department of Astronomy at UT Austin.

Tuition In state tuition is $10,612 and books cost a total of $700 approximately. Out of state tuition is approximately $53,476. The housing on campus is about $10,804.
