First it just happened; then Artist Amos Sewell, hearing about it, staged a revival to amuse the U.S. and other countries. The judge almost decided to give top prize to the collie (her dog), but finally chose the poodle (this was the poodle’s back yard). The spaniel, next to the wire-haired dachshund, checked in with an extra entry, a flea. The cat finally got real mad and went away spitting blasphemy. *Excerpt from 7/08/1950 Saturday Evening Post
