Olare Mara Kempinski is a boutique luxury lodge with 12 tented suites perched along the Ntiakitiak River in the exclusive 35,000-acre Olare Motorogi conservancy bordering the Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya. The camp works with the Masai community to reduce human/wildlife conflicts so that wildlife has more space to roam freely and without fear. As a result, the wildlife population, especially that of the predators, has increased hugely inside the conservation area in recent years and, unlike the Mara reserve, guests here experience uncrowded game drives in open 4x4 vehicles with amazing indigenous guides and are able to go off-road for better viewing. In addition, guests have the advantage of being able to go on guided nature walks to view game, including rhino, and night game drives besides authentic Masai village visits and balloon safaris.
