Joshua Bell (Our amazing host)Joshua is violinist and conductor who has performed with many of the world's major orchestrasand conductors. He is a Turnaround Artist with a school in Washington, DC. His partner isLarissa Martinez.Larisa Martínez (Our amazing host)Larisa is an opera singer “highly praised for her warm quality of voice and unique timbre.” Anative of Puerto Rico, Larissa is a Turnaround artist with a school in Milwaukee. Her partner isJoshua Bell.Heidi FrederickHeidi is Joshua Bell’s assistant. She is also the founder of FaceLove a wellness beautycompany.Kathy FletcherKathy is Momma Kathy and Board Chair of All Our Kids, Inc. (AOK) and the NationalDirector of Turnaround Arts. She has worked in many aspects of social justice and civil rights inthe private, non-profit, and government sectors. She lives in DC with her husband DavidSimpson.

David SimpsonDavid is the dad-in-Chief and Executive Director of All Our Kids, Inc (AOK). He has aproven track record in start-ups, strategic planning, communications, management andevent production. He lives in DC with his wife Kathy.David BrooksDavid (or “Brooks” as he is known by the AOK kids to discern him from David Simpson)is a beloved member of the AOK family. He is also an American political and culturalcommentator who writes for The New York Times. He has worked as a film critic for TheWashington Times, a reporter and op-ed editor for The Wall Street Journal and a senioreditor at The Weekly Standard from its inception; a contributing editorat Newsweek and The Atlantic Monthly; and a commentator on NPR. He is currently acolumnist for The New York Times and commentator on PBS NewsHour.Damian WoetzelDamien is a retired Principal Dancer of the New York City Ballet, activist, educator andchoreographer. He is the director of the Aspen Institute Arts Program, which furthers thevalue of the arts in society, focusing on education, social justice, economics, anddiplomacy. A Turnaround Artist, he has adopted two schools in Lame Deer, MT andRoxbury, MA. Damien also works with Yo-Yo Ma on his Silk Road Connect program inthe New York City Public Schools. He is married to Heather Watts.

Heather WattsHeather is a is a retired Principal Dancer, formerly with the New York City Ballet. She isa ballet director, educator, AIDS activist and writer. Heather has served as a panelist forthe National Endowment for the Arts and currently serves on the Artists Committee forthe Kennedy Center Honors. She is married to Damien Woetzel.Johnny and Angelic NunezJohnny is a celebrity photographer. He is Venezuelan and Trinidadian but wasadopted by a Puerto Rican family and grew up in Brentwood, Long Island. He is aTurnaround Artist working with schools in Milwaukee, WI and Minneapolis, MN. Hiswife’s name is Angelic. (I’m not sure if this is pronounced as Angelique or Angelic.)Alan BreedAlan is President and Portfolio Manager of Edgewood Management LLC. He is a$50,000 donor to AOK. He chairs the investment committees on the boards of bothGreenwich Hospital and the University of Richmond. Alan is member of the Republicanparty and lives in his hometown of Greenwich, CT.

John and Jodie ArnholdJohn is chairman of First Eagle Investment Management and director of First EagleHoldings, Inc. and president and a trustee of First Eagle Funds. John’s father, HenryArnhold, is a major philanthropist in NYC whose foundation has holdings of over $350million and focuses on art and dance, education, environment, health, human rights.John is the secretary and treasurer of his father’s trust. Jody is the founder of DanceEducation Laboratory (DEL) at 92nd Street Y and is a dance educator and advocate.Jody taught at Columbia University and is a Mentor to the NYC Board of Education.John and Jody have donated $4.365 million to Teachers College, Columbia University toestablish a new doctoral program in Dance Education.Margo LionMargo is from Baltimore, Maryland. She is a producer for plays bothon Broadway and off-Broadway. She produced the stage and screen hit Hairspray. Lionis an adjunct professor at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She alsoserved as Co-Chair on Obama's Arts Policy Committee and was appointed in 2009 asCo-Chair of the President's Committee on the Humanities and the Arts.Boykin CurryBoykin is a partner at Eagle Capital investment firm (Arnhold’s firm). He is a co-founderof Public Prep, a group of charter schools in New York City. He is also a board memberof Alliance for School Choice and a co-founder of Democrats for Education Reform. Hegraduated from Yale University and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Les and Barbara BucklandLeslie and Barbara ($5000 AOK donors) have a trust called Barbara and LeslieBuckland Charitable Trust. They have given to the Museum of Art and Design and TheNational Parks Foundation. Leslie (who was born in the UK and then emigrated toCanada) was a photojournalist for Kodak in the 70s, ran marketing for Eastman Kodakand then started his own company. He sold his company and is now retired. He is anavid mountain climber (he climbed Everest at 68) and cyclist. Barbara was a Professorof French and Director of the Finch Intercontinental Study Plan at Finch College in NYC.Andrea ElliotAndrea is an investigative reporter for The New York Times, currently on leave writing abook about child poverty. Her three-part series, “An Imam in America,” was awarded the2007 Pulitzer Prize for feature writing. Her 2013 series, “Invisible Child,” chronicled thelife of an 11-year-old homeless girl, winning a George Polk award, among other honors,and prompting city officials to remove more than 400 children from substandardhomeless shelters. She was raised in Washington by a Chilean immigrant mother andan American father.James DrosinJames is the original AOK kid! He just started community college in DC in January and is doinggreat.

Maryann TarucTaruc (Tahrook) is an amazing person and artist who has recently joined the AOKfamily. She is completing her GED and will attend art school next year.Kebron Mihrete (Kesari)Kesari is an amazing jazz singer and she was just accepted at both the Berklee Schoolof Music and the New School of Jazz.Koleco ElizaireKoleco a resilient, beautiful and courageous young man who grew up in the fostersystem and is pursuing his dreams of becoming a sound engineer and DJ.Chyna LewisChyna is a freshman at Howard whose dream is to be a civil rights lawyer. Her motherended up in a homeless shelter in the middle of the school year, we scrambled to find abenefactor to keep her in school and now she’s thriving and getting straight A’s.

Nabil AbdulkadirNabil is our film and photography guru! He is studying film at the University of Marylandand doing freelance work with a number of DC non-profits.
