Lottie’s Story That’s me! Written & Illustrated by Charlotte Walker



From a young age I was always fascinated by picture books and the imagery within them.

In highschool I began to pick up a love for drawing and would spend all of my free time creating char- acters.

In college I decided to pursue my art ca- reer and studied Graphic Design & Fine Art.

I then enrolled in the Graphic Design & Illustration course at Liverpool John Moores University.

Even as an adult I still enjoy flicking through children’s books and seeing the different illustration styles and techniques.

I then discovered the field of children’s book illustration and knew it was exactly what I wanted to do.

I began to study all of the children’s books surrounding me and develop my style as well as create books of my own.

And from then on I’ve been working every day to grow as an artist and become the best I can possibly be!
