Mr. Kwaku Ayew Yeboah (1948-2023) A GREAT SOUL “A great soul serves everyone all the time A great soul never dies. He brings us together again and again” (Maya Angelow) SUNRISE: The late Ayew Yeboah also known as Kwaku Ayew or Brother Annan was born on 21st April, 1948 to Opanyin Kwabena Ampofo and Madam Beatrice Sika Yirenkyi of the Akyepere and Otubromu clans respectively (Mampong –Akuapem). Both of blessed memory. He was the fourth of seven siblings. EDUCATION: Mr. Ayew Yeboah started his education in 1953 at the Mampong Methodist Primary and Middle Schools and completed in 1963. He sat and passed the four-year Teacher Training Entrance Examination and was admitted at the S.D.A Training College , Asokore , Koforidua for his studies. In 1975, the late Ayew Yeboah gained admission to the University of Ghana to pursue a three-year undergraduate program in Theatre Arts, and this was partly because of his passion and interest in the Arts and Culture. In his persuit for higher education, he participate in several academic training programs and workshops ranging from Teaching, Arts and Culture, Literature amongst others. CAREER Kwaku Ayew, secured his first employment as a messenger at the Ministry of Works and Housing, Accra. During that time, she stayed with her Aunty, Mrs. Mabel Codjoe of blessed memory. He worked at the Ministry for six years spanning 1963 to 1969. After his training college education, he was first posted to the Ashalley Botwe L/A school from 1973 to 1975. He subsequently served as an English Tutor at the Mount Mary’s Teacher Training College, Somanya from 1975 to 1982 where he discharged his duties excellently as always. 4 | Mr. Kwaku Ayew Yeboah

TRIBUTE BY WIFE Mrs. Sussana Kumi Ayew You showed me such pure love always and I enjoyed every bit of it. Kwaku was a kind and generous person who will offer the little he has to the person in need. You were a peace -loving man who rejected quarrels in any form. You always immediately apologized whenever there was a misunderstanding between us and quickly bounced back to normalcy with the words \"I love you\". I always admired your level of tolerance. You were just awesome! You offered private tuition to us daily after school, which we never liked, but was beneficial eventually. I remember how I use to worry you by sitting on you laps, hitting you whiles you laid on your sick bed. You sent me to call grandmum for you when she could not hear your call. TRIBUTE BY IN-LAW From afar, I had a whole lot of perceptions about you, and I often wondered how my sister Juliet, a teacher under your supervision and my friend Beatrice, got along so well with you. We never had a close friendship until I got married to Nana Yaw. You cared so much and you were such a loving father in-law. You were always concerned with my academic progress and inspired me to work hard in my studies. I experienced the real person you were during my short stay with the family. There was always joy at home and my relationship and love for you kept growing stronger and stronger daily. You never called me by name without adding \"madam\" to it. Dad, \"Madam Efe\" will dearly miss you always. It is hard to say goodbye especially when you passed on when I was in school. Rest well in the bosom of the Lord. Justina B. We are encouraged by your examples and will forever cherish the wonderful memories of the time we had with you.
