For 39 summers, the trained, professional staff at the award-winning Camp Kadima at the David Posnack JCC has provided a supervised and safe environment, allowing every camper to build self-confidence, develop socialization skills, and be energized and enlightened through our age-appropriate programming, regardless of faith and race. WELCOME TO THE 2021 CAMP KADIMA OLYMPIC GAMES! The time has finally arrived. The world is coming together to celebrate diversity and sports at the biggest international sporting competition. Camp Kadima is ready to embark on a journey through some of the different countries participating in this global event. We want to invite you to come with us. So pack your bags, get your boarding pass and have your passport ready. We're about to take off for a summer of fun! Each week we will have a different theme based on a different country participating in the Olympic Games. The best flagpole in south Florida featuring Mike & Dale #TeamMike Campers start every morning enjoying music, singing, cheering and dancing. #TeamDale Campers and counselors are split into two teams - #TeamMike and #TeamDale. Teams compete in daily challenges throughout the summer with one team being crowned flagpole champion. Mike and Dale bring energy and create a unique experience for every camper making our flagpole one of a kind. Flagpole helps get the campers and counselors in the camp spirit and is a centerpiece of Camp Kadima culture. CAMP OPTIONS JSprouts For Boys & Girls Ages 2 Years–4 Years • In JSprouts we swim, go to the splash pad, paint, craft, cook, experiment, play outside, do yoga, sing, dance, go on virtual field trips and have Friday Shabbat. • Special events include in-house entertainment, petting zoos, magic shows, puppet shows and events like PJ Library Goes to Camp. • The day will end at 3 pm and we will keep children with older siblings free of charge until carpool begins at 3:35 pm JKidz For Boys & Girls Entering Kindergarten • Our program provides an exciting transition from preschool to kindergarten. • All campers enjoy in-house entertainment, Color War (Maccabiah), Songfest (Zimriah), special events, water days, game shows and a camp-wide mitzvah project. Adventure For Boys & Girls Grades 1-5 • Campers are grouped according to the grade they will enter in the fall; however, grades may be combined. • All campers enjoy in-house entertainment, Color War (Maccabiah), Songfest (Zimriah), special events, water days, game shows and a camp-wide mitzvah project.

PREMIER CAMPS JGirls Grades 1-2, Grades 3-5 • Our campers receive a well-rounded camp experience that includes dancing, arts, weekly events, in-house entertainment, special events and girl empowerment. • Campers also participate in camp-wide activities and special events. JTech For Boys & Girls, Grades 2-6 JTech introduces campers to the amazing worlds of science, technology, engineering, arts and math through a familiar and amazing cooperative online tool. Campers learn through: • Computer-aided design • Circuitry • Math concepts using basic • Chemistry arithmetic and geometry • Game design 2019 Performance Inside Out Theatre @ the J For Boys & Girls, Grades 3-9 Session l Grades 3-8 \"Matilda Jr.\" Session ll Grades 4-9 \"Peter Pan, Jr.\" An exciting and fun musical theatre experience directed by Robin Braun and Inside Out Theatre. • Campers will learn acting, voice & dance while gaining confidence in a creative and supportive atmosphere. • Campers must be enrolled for the consecutive 4-week session (Session l or Session II). SPORTS CAMP JSports For Boys & Girls, Grades 1-6 • Young athletes will learn about a variety of sports including basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, flag football and volleyball. • Daily activities focus on sport-specific fundamentals. JHoops For Boys & Girls, Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6 • Young athletes will learn the fundamentals of playing basketball. • Daily activities include drills to learn passing, dribbling and shooting.

TWEEN AND TEEN CAMPS Extreme For Boys & Girls Grades 6-8 • Campers are grouped according to the grade they will enter in the fall; however, grades may be combined. • All campers enjoy in-house entertainment, Color War (Maccabiah), Songfest (Zimriah), special events, water days, game shows and a camp-wide mitzvah project. Leaders-in-Training (LIT) For Boys & Girls Grade 9 • This program is the first level in the transition from camper to counselor. • During part of each week, these teens work side-by-side with experienced camp counselors and specialists, training to be future Camp Kadima staff members. • Training includes a mandatory training session in junior first aid, CPR and junior water safety. • Some in-house activities are offered for the LIT program. CPoAsnaMck FPounGdaItBionORIM Ben & Dorothy Spencer Special Services Division For Boys & Girls | Ages 3-22+ Afternoon carpool for Giborim ONLY begins at 3 pm • Giborim, which means heroes in Hebrew, is a program designed for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities. • Campers participate in all camp activities, special events, and in-house entertainment. • New campers must have an intake interview. The DPJCC cannot provide one-on-one supervision. Continuous aggressive behaviors may result in dismissal of the camper from the program. • Inclusion program: A limited number of campers with disabilities are included in the general camp.
