Board Begets Bonds, Buildings, Budget The Jordan Board of Education was responsible for establishing the policies by which Hillcrest High School operated during the 1981-82 school year. Board President Mark Klotovich, working with Vice President Mau rine Jensen, and Members Jane Cal lister, Lois Hirschi, and Mark Wahl- qUist, met regularly in governmental sessions to deal with issues ranging from budgets and mill levies to building needs and bondmg. It was the year of Reapportion- ment. One of the Board's major tasks was realigning the voting precincts so that all residents received equal representation in school govern- ment. The Superintendent and mem- bers of his administrative staff ad- ministered the policies and proce- dures established by the board. The team provided leadership and di- rection to school operations throughout the district. Mr. Schick has spent many years as teacher and principal helping students achieve suc- cess. As a deeply concerned administrator, Mr. Schick has become an invaluable part of Hillcrest.
