A Drop In The Bucket Just like a Chef preparing a gourmet meal, Coach Jeanie Wilson made sure every ingredi- ent to make a winning team was carefully added, until the perfect mixture was found! The team this year combined strength, quickness, talent, and experience to make them virtual- ly unbeatable. The girls worked very hard in practice doing drills to perfect their skills. When they stepped on the floor, their hard work showed! They outscored some opponents by as much as 40 points~ They never gave up, nor did they ever let up. In every game they played hard and bat- tled whether they had a five point lead or a twenty point lead. Good work girls of 81-82. 2 3----~~-~-- 72/ Varslly G1rls Bask !ball

Gymnasts Do It With A Twist With new coaches and team members, Hillcrest's 1981-'82 Gymnastics Team was one to be proud of. They brought home many high honors to our school. The girls put in more hours of practice than many recognized. Do A What??? 2 These words might be heard from a diver, a trapeze artist, or a skier. But, in this case they prob- ably came from one of our gym- nasts. Hillcrest's gymnastic students and team put hours of time and effort into doing what they like best. Gymnastics! This is a challenging sport that requires a good sense of coordi- nation, balance, gracefulness, and most of all, courage. Almost all of those ladies start- ed this fabulous sport at a very early age. They've worked their way up to where they are today.
