''Goodntorning Huskies'' Being a V.P. at Hillcrest is a very important and time consummg job. Not only are each of the V.P.'s responsible for a certain amount of students, by makmg sure each student is ready to graduate, but they also ensure the smooth running of the assemblies, transportation to classrooms, classroom attendance and graduation ceremonies. Although they may not always be the most popular people, they deserve a lot of respect. We all know what IS said by the V.P.'s, or do we? Match the following quotes with the names of the V.P.'s. A- H1cks B- Lovata CSmith D- Jensen \"We need your full attenhon or we w1ll have to d1sm1ss you from th1s assembly'\"' Lee Jensen \"Where's your hall pass?\" \"Get to class!\" Tom H1cks \"Ar you on task?\" 'Tm aware of that.\" \"Where are you supposed to be?\" L1anne Sm1th 'Tm really burned out.\" \"I NEED MONEY\" \" Ted Lovata \"I need to see these students NOW.\" H1s locks say everything. Office Aids La Rame Monsen Jean Rekouhs Kay Wozab Jean Hess Debra Buchanan Jess1e Lloyd Renae Hatheld Ellen Southwtck Countless hours were spent helping students rearrange their 118/0FFICE AIDS schedules so that graduation requirements were met. Hillcrests 8 aids offered advice to Huskies when needed and helped students prepare for the afterlife. Besides helping students with their scholastic lives, personal advice was also given. The aids at Hillcrest each specialize in certam areas, office, counseling center, registrar, attendance and the media. These tasks ranged from taking care of fees and fines- to checking students in or out, processing w1th-drawls, to keeping attendance records all kept up so we can get calls on record. Each of these ladies work hard for Hillcrest and deserve a hand.

Because for the entire school year the lunch ladies have been working very hard to supply our humble students with nutritious, tasty, U.S.D.A. certified meals. Lunches like: Ch1cken fried steak with potatoes and gravy, cheeseburgers, and pizza, have been the mam crowd pleasers throughout the year. Another yummy treat at lunchtime is the burritos, or \"burros toes\" as Lisa Wilcox would say it. We owe these faithful workers a show of gratitude for keeping us in good health. 120/CAFETERIA LADIES

PE Health A flurry of hmbs! OK, Mr. limas, th1s lS what I thmk of your PE Th1s >S what happens to students who goof off in class! Mr. Takeno's class. There is always a lot of \"exer-citement\" m the PE Department. When you think of PE. exercise comes to mind. In our PE classes, true, some do exert themselves to the fullest in trying to get in shape, but, then there are those who take it for other reasons. Some take a gym class to keep up on the latest locker room jokes and \"news of the off-beat\". Others take PE to, well, let's put it this way - there are two types of sneakers in the locker room: jogging sneakers and \"peeker sneakers.\" The students aren't the only ones who get exercise. Teachers get their exercise by chasing thtefs out of the locker room who seem to have a need to possess 11 large collechon of gym socks, shoes, and clothes. 124/PE HEALTH

Math Maxfield's theorem: II you h,we two lines m a plane, namely Land M. and you don 't like 11 , you can always get the \" L\" out and call II somethmg different, hke N. We all struggle to pass math requirements for graduation either through Basic and Consumer Math, or the more difficult classes, Calculus and Trigonometry. The math department offers something for everyone in order to prepare them for future classes and careers. The teachers at Hillcrest add a lot to the student's success. Their excellent teaching skills and unique way of communicating their knowledge to the students has a strong influence on the amount of information each student will absorb. In Mr. Maxfield's classes, a female curve is a third degree curve, i.e. y = x3, because the graph goes up, begms to turn to go back down, and then changes its mind and goes on up. We started out with the world and will finally end with A.P. European and U.S. History. Through our years at Hlllcrest, we've studied the social hves of the pilgrams, Martm Luther King, and the Cambochans. We watched Amelia in her attempt to fly around the world, and felt the sorrow as she disappeared without a trace. Europe, Greece, Turkey, Korea - we were a part. Hunting the dinosaur with the caveman, helping Ben Franklin fly his kite, flying w1th the bombers of World War II, and remember YOU were there! We have two ends wllh a common hnk . Hillcrest offers keyboarding, computer study fashion, and shorthand just to name a few. How do you stop th1s?? One day when my teacher was being unhelpful and unruley he decided, \"why not give the students a ten page term paper?\" \"Oh No!\" I said, \"what am I to do?\" Then a little voice said to me, \"Go to the hbrary and find Mr. Lyon our new librarian he'll help you.\" The little voice was right - He did.
