IDENTIFY揑 揑One is not required to live by have to?or must??everything we do is a result of a卆decision choice. Choices made in our younger years and choices made this morning whenwe woke up. Everything is a choice: to obey or disobey; to study or not study; to eat right ornot eat right. When making these choices, we control everything about our lives including our抯future and our level of self-awareness. When you see a wise, confident, beautiful person ?it抯not luck, it choice. Once you realize and accept this, only then can you begin to become卻who it is you want to be. All of us are given gifts pecial gifts and talents. Throughself-discovery, we are able to identify these gifts. If we pay attention to who we are and what

makes us happy, we will make the right choices to set our own future.2. EVALUATE抰Who are you? Look at yourself and be honest. Write on a piece of paper the things you like(Pros) and don like (Cons) about you. If you are (and you should be) your own best friend, you should be able to take a look at the Cons and develop a plan to begin moving thosenegatives over to the positive side. Likewise, you should take a look at your Pros and developa plan to make sure those positive attributes remain on the positive side and continue to grow onthe inside AND the outside of you. As you work out a plan, try to find people with likepersonalities who share your same goals. These are the very people that will make greatfriends and help you stay on your set path.3. CONFIRM揑 揑 揑Talk to yourself! Still using your list of Pros, begin reinforcing the positive attributes of yourpersonality. I AM? am successful? am pretty? am fun!?.. every positive thoughtshould be repeated often ?YOU are WHAT you THINK!!!4. FORGIVE抰Forgive yourself for screw ups! They happen to all of us! We are as imperfect as our bodies!!Give yourself a break ?forgive and move on. You can change the past ?but you can live inthe present and affect the future!5. RESTTreat yourself right. Be a friend, a good listener, a giver, not a taker ?we feel the best aboutourselves when we make someone else smile.6. BE THANKFULGratitude will get you everywhere. Give thanks to your creator. Be humble in all you have.卛Pray for those with cold hearts or sad lives. Really know what you have; all of the gifts, talents, and things you possess. Here today, gone tomorrow f you live your life withgratitude and love, peace will always be in your presence.7. ACCEPTANCEDo not accept your fate dictated by others. Accept only the fate you give yourself. Throughacts of kindness and focused determination, you can achieve all that is good in this life. Whenyou believe in kindness and in yourself ?you can achieve anything. At that point self-esteemis abundant and so is your life.Know yourself. Like yourself. Live your life like everyone is only in their underwear!Title:Having Healthy Pups: A Few Tips On Keeping Your Dog HealthyWord Count:429Summary:

One of your new duties as a dogowner is to take care of your pet's health. Here are two pointers for you to follow in taking careof your pet.- The Veterinarian Is our FriendPart of your duty as a dog owner is to know when to call for the vet. Don't take a \"wait and see\"attitude when it comes to your pet's health. Sometimes, that approach is fine but most oftenprofessional help is needed to treat your dog's sickness. Depending on the dog's condition, thereare many ways a veterinarian may help. There are several instances when it is essential that you call your veterinarian:a) Always call your vet when your dog has been in an accident. If your regular veterinarian isnot available, look for the closest emergency vet clinic.b) Always call your vet when you suspect your dog has eaten something that may be poisonousor something inedible.c) Call your vet immediately when your pet is in obvious distress. Sudden weight gain orweight loss should be a warning sign for you to take your dog to the vet.d) If your dog is coughing, vomiting or having seizure, call the vet immediately.- An Ounce of Prevention Is Better Than A Pound Of CureOf course, going to the vet should be the last recourse. Preventing your dog from being hurt orgetting sick is your primary responsibility.Remember, that good food and a lot of exercise equates into a long life for your pet. A balanceddiet and a regimen of exercise helps prevent sickness and strengthens your pet. Monitor whatyour pets eat. Clean your dog's cage regularly to get rid of any disease-causing bacteria. Checkyour dog's water supply. Make sure it's clean and healthy for your pet.Keep your dog on a leash. Running in front of a car is not very good for your dog's health and

heaven knows where your pet may end up if you just let it wander around.Give your dog a regular bath. Fleas and ticks can give your dog extreme discomfort and areoften carriers of disease.Of course, keeping your dog in tip-top shape goes beyond these pointers. It's always advisableto ask a veterinarian for additional health tips and as your experience with your pet grows, you'll think up of a couple more rules that are special to your beloved hound. Just rememberthat when your pet's health is in question, it's always better to be safe!Title:Natural Therapy for Maintaining Healthy Blood Pressure Part 2Word Count:705Summary:One of the more common treatments for high blood pressure are ACE inhibitors. When yourkidneys detect low blood pressure, they release an enzyme called renin, which stimulates theformation of a protein called angiotensin I.Keywords:Natural Therapy for Maintaining Healthy Blood PressureArticle Body:One of the more common treatments for high blood pressure are ACE inhibitors. When yourkidneys detect low blood pressure, they release an enzyme called renin, which stimulates theformation of a protein called angiotensin I. Angiotensin I is then converted by theangiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) in the lungs to a very potent chemical called angiotensinII. Angiotensin II is a powerful blood vessel constrictor that causes muscles surrounding theblood vessels to contract, resulting in narrowing of the blood vessels. This narrowing of thevessels increases pressure in the vessels and can result in high blood pressure .The ACE Inhibitors block the action of the angiotensin-converting enzyme in the lungs so thatangiotensin I is not converted into angiotensin II. This allows blood vessels to remain widened, which results in lowering of the blood pressure. ARBs block the action of angiotensin II itself,so that vessels dilate, making it easier for the heart to pump blood, and results in lower bloodpressure .The natural bioactive casein hydrolysate tripeptides in Melaleuca's ProStolic?act as a naturalblocker to the formation of angiotensin II. Also included in this proprietary blend ispomegranate juice powder, which inhibits activity of the angiotensin-converting enzyme as well.A third ingredient is passionflower extract. Although researchers don't know exactly howpassionflower works, they believe that flavonoid and alkaloid compounds in the plant regulatethe neurotransmitters in your nervous system that reduce anxiety. One of these flavonoids in

particular, chrysin, helps to calm your central nervous system and lower your blood pressure.Combined with the proprietary blend of tripeptides, pomegranate juice powder and passionflower extract, ProStolic?also contains potassium and calcium to provide a well-rounded naturalremedy to help promote healthy blood flow and naturally maintain healthy blood pressure, butwithout the side effects so common with medications.Tripeptides are formed when milk casein is broken down into smaller pieces. Several differentpeptides have been studied, but a significant amount of research has determined that thetripeptides Isoleucine-Proline-Proline (IPP) and Valine-Proline-Proline (VPP) have the mostsupportive evidence for their efficacy, safety and bioavailability The natural bioactivehydrolyzed casein (a combination of tripeptides IPP and VPP) is an active ingredient includedin the proprietary blend in Melaleuca's ProStolic? These tripeptides are derived from nonfatmilk casein, and have been clinically proven to help maintain healthy blood pressure. Moststudies show that blood pressure is lower after 2 weeks of daily consumption of IPP and VPP,and reach a stable level after 4-6 weeks.Like the mechanism of action of the commonly prescribed ACE Inhibitors, the natural action oftripeptides block the formation of Angiotensin II, which normally causes the blood vessels tonarrow. But that's where the similarity ends. Studies show that IPP and VPP tripeptidesaccomplish the blockage of Angiotensin II without the side effects so common in ACE andARB medications. In 2001, an 8-week placebo-controlled, double-blind study was conductedon 30 people with mild or moderate hypertension. Results of the study showed a significantdecrease in blood pressure of IPP and VPP test subjects, but no change was seen in the placebogroup. In addition, no adverse reactions such as dry cough, digestive tract symptoms orabnormal changes were observed.Over 20 human clinical trials have been conducted with the IPP and VPP peptides over the past10 years and more than 10 double-blind clinical studies have been conducted on the particularformulation of tripeptides used in Melaleuca's proprietary blend. A 1996 placebo-controlledstudy on the blood pressure of 30 elderly hypertensive patients, most of whom were takingantihypertensive medication, showed a significant decrease in both systolic and diastolic bloodpressure after 4 and 8 weeks, but no significant changes were observed in the placebo group.A British Journal of Nutrition article reported a single blinded, placebo controlled study of 131people with high-normal blood pressure or mild hypertension to determine the efficacy ofhydrolyzed casein containing IPP and VPP in reducing blood pressure. The authors concludedthat these peptides could assist in the prevention of hypertension in people with blood pressurethat is above normal.Melaleuca's Prostolic also contains other natural hypertension treatments includingpomegranate juice, passion flower, potassium and calcium. All the benefits of these naturalingredients will be discussed in Natural Therapy for Maintaining Healthy Blood Pressure Part3.
