Using these words shows that we have good manners. The five magic words are as follows: Sorry – We must say ‘sorry’ when we do something wrong or hurt others. Excuse me – W e should say ‘excuse me’ when we ask for permission. We can also use it to ask someone to stop doing something and listen to us.
